Michael Schumacher, 7 times world champion today, finnished his final PGP in 4th possition. The outcome was simple as Michael needed all ten points and for Fernando Alonso not to score, 11 laps into the race, Michael was 70 seconds behind his team-mate Filepe Massa after a punture from Debry left from the williams of Nicko Rosberg. He couragously fought back to finnish just outside of the podium. Thus The world championship was handed to Fernando Alonso who finnished 2nd just in front of Jenson Button who had an amiaizing race starting from 14th possition. Filepe Massa however was the star of the show, with fastest lap after fastest lap, and won the race by 24 seconds as he never looked like being caught.
