Yup, its early to create a thread already now, but this is not exactly about the competition itself (I dont know if I am hanging around here 11 years in future) but who should be the holders of the Olympics?

Norway want to hold the games for the third time (Oslo 1952 and Lillehammer 1994) but we dont know which city which is the best.

The Norwegian possible canidats are:
-Oslo
-Trondheim
-Tromsø

I personaly think Tromsø shall get it. Its a beautiful place and even though there are no places to held skijumping and stuff yet, they can build that in future.

Trondheim has some stadiums already, because they were the holders of Skiing World Cup in 1997. But Trondheim has not been that active and they will not get it.

Oslo is our favourite. Its a big city (not compared to others in Europe tho) and its quite beautiful. They have stadiums and also the largest ski-jumping stadium.

But its not sure Norway will get the games at all. We held the games for 13 years ago, but the competition about the spots is not that hard as in the Summer Olympics. Canada, Japan and U.S.A are great places to held the Olympics but they have held the latest.

Has London been holders by the way? Can we expect competition from UK?
