England 5 Kazakhstan 1

A flattering scoreline for England, but at least it's three points. :point: Half-time it was 0-0, then Ferdinand scored with a header after like 50 minutes. An own goal made it 2-0 and then Ashley Cole made a terrible error to make it 2-1 (the crowd then kept booing him). A good header from Rooney made it 3-1. The Kazakh players then tired as Rooney scored his second, before substitute Defoe scored England's 5th. Phew.

I thought I imagined Croatia 1 England 4 in that first half :|

Belarus in Minsk on Wednesday is next.

I saw the last minutes at my aunts place in Trondheim. 4-1 and 5-1

A goalless tie in the derby between me and Cammy at Hampden Park, but the number of big chances was not low. Chris Iwelumo had the biggest chance for Scotlnd, missing the target from 5m. Probably the miss of the year there.

Braaten/Iversen should have scored in the end for Norway and Carew had some good runs as well. B.H Riise wasted a good chance in the first half too.

I suppose neither of us are happy with a draw today

Faroe Island drew against Austria :ph43r: Imagine if they won, that would've been the second time(?) they've beaten them. The first time, which was back in '92 - Hickersberger resigned afterwards

France 2-2 against Romania <_< If it wasn't for Ribery and Gourcuff( :notworthy: ), we would've been embarassed, and we were in that first half, horrible <_< 4 points out of 9 possible is a wake up call for the FFF, sack Domnech so we can clean up this mess already <_<

Then Senegal not making it to the final round of World Cup qualifying and the African Nations Cup is even worse - I saw the whole match and we played like ****, the Gambians were all over us and we did nothing about it. We started to pick up the pace in the second half with a few notable chances, and we even managed a goal - which was really an own goal but Mangane got credited for it, but even that wasn't enough, with 4 minutes left, they scored and we were ruined.

That's it for four years, disappointing really, given that this was our do or die match and they played as if it was just a friendly. The fact that we drew our rivals for the second time this year is even worse, Gambia are a good side but Senegal are capable of doing well, it's just that we weren't organized on the pitch and it cost us big time. I'm not surprised the fans started rioting after the final whistle, this was a bs performance. I'm sure Lamine N'diaye regrets leaving Diawara and Niang out now, ******* retard <_<

Great result from the Faroe Islands, they're only 3 points away from France  Maybe they could snatch a win from them somehow  :|

Well, England made it interesting for us last night. There was a 15 minute spell after they scored their goal that we looked like conceding again. Upsn looked distinctly average, Walcott started well but faded, SWP did really well and gave us more width. And yet again it has been proven that Gerrard and Lampard can't play together. And based on current form, Gerrard has to make way. It's gt to be Barry and one other in a 4-4-2, as it's been shown we can't play in any other formation. And at least 4-4-2 with Rooney holding hands with the big oaf Heskey gets the best out of him.

Cameroon, Kenya, Benin, Nigeria, Ghana, Gabon, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Rwanda, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Mali, Sudan, Zambia, Togo, Malawi, Egypt, Mozambique, and Guinea are through in Africa - Unlucky for Gambia, but they deserve it :|

A lot of good sides here, the final round is going to be a tough one. Maybe Alain Giresse can atleast get Gabon to the African Nations Cup

1-1 v Faroe Islands says more about Austria I'm afraid.

I don't really care about small crap countries (except Norway ehehe), but I think Luxembourg-Moldova can turn out to something intresting. Can they win the easiest game of the group and come up in a number of 6 points?

Moldova is a better side, but Luxembourg has confidence in their team nowadays. They nearly got points from Israel recently

Terry and Ashley Cole have been ruled out of the Belarus match, damn.

Could be a tough game away. Belarussian football is doing well at the moment (BATE Borisov is a great example). They also have Iraq's 2004 Olympics coach at the helm.

Bad news for Norway: Snejder and van Persie are fit to play.

Good news for me who wanted to see one of the Arsenal stars B) But seriously, we'll lose, oh ****. <_<

Senegal have fired Lamine N'diaye despite him having a few weeks left on his contract - It's about time we get a new manager but with nothing to compete for until 2010, it'll be tough <_<
