Cissokho for France? That's just weird, he should play for Senegal. The kit isn't bad either, looks like a 1998 one indeed. |

Evra and Clichy are ahead of him too, he could be like Gomis and make the odd appearance here and there... That kit will be the one we use at South Africa if we qualify

Diaby is out after picking up an injury yesterday, looks like we could see the return of Viera, Samir Nasri, or even better: a call-up for Benoit Cheyrou, who deserves his chance IMO. He has been great with Marseille

48 hours away now BTW: Diaby has not pulled out of the squad, so no replacements there. Toulalan is another doubt ahead of the match, we could see Alou Diarra alongside Lassana Diarra Saturday. |

New Zealand have qualified for the World Cup after a 1-0 win over Bahrain! Drama in Africa too! Tunisia were 2 points clear of Nigeria before the games began. Mozambique ended up beating Tunisia 1-0 and Nigeria got a late goal to beat Kenya 3-2! Nigeria are in South Africa! |

What a finish, what a finish At HT - Mozambique 0-0 Tunisia, Kenya 1-0 Nigeria Then before you know it, 2-1 to Nigeria, then Kenya score in the 78th min. Then on the 83rd min mark - Mozambique score against Tunisia while Nigeria score to make it 3-2 at the same time What a finish and Tunisia - shame on you for wasting a good position Wanted Tunisia to go though since they're our neighbours but that shows they are mentally weak to throw a good position away like that. Also Kenya will be gutted to lose out on the African Cup of Nations. Bring on the next group (3:30pm KO BSE) - Morrocco v Cameroon, Togo v Gabon - the battle for World Cup qualification and African Cup

I was just about to post the news! New Zealand Well, I had a feeling they could beat Bahrain anyway, Boyens (from the Red Bulls) will be there I figured Nigeria would make it through as well, but Mozambique's win is a shock. They've even qualified for the African Nations Cup with that win! Expect some riots in Tunisia after all that... I'm looking forward to seeing who will go through between Cameroon and Gabon later on. I'm hoping Gabon will make it, that would be crazy And France later ofcourse, I'm ready for this. Sarkozy has even wished them good luck on his facebook page ( ):
Possible line-up for tonight (L'EQUIPE): Lloris - Sagna, Galla, Abidal, Evra - A. Diarra, L. Diarra - Anelka, Gourcuff, Henry - Gignac. That whole back line in bold is under pressure tonight, not just to play well, but also to avoid getting yellow cards or else they'll be suspended for the return match. |

I wanted Nigeria to win as I don't like Tunisia that much, so this is great I'm with you, Ligue, I hope Gabon win too - would be cool to see a new African team at the World Cup The Algerian team bus was hit by rocks earlier with some players bleeding. Asser's buddies causing trouble already

Indeed. Nice comeback from Nigeria And yes, ZZ, I saw it on euronews earlier. Apparently the Presidents of the respective countries called each other before it to discuss any potential troubles or something?

You should've seen ZZ yesterday on MSN, he looked like he was going to murder someone, even said he'd hunt down Aser if anything else happened Morocco - Cameroon and Togo - Gabon have started, both 0-0 after 15 minutes. |

CAMEROON have just scored! Webo is the scorer, the guy who was the reason why Cameroon didn't qualify back in 2006. |
