It was a close match without a doubt. Thank god Lawrence didn't score when he had the chance. The guys were too defensive in the first half We played better in the second half and thankfully Anelka managed to beat Given We could've been up 2-0 if Gignac didn't fuck up his close range shot, but oh well, we won none the less. Now, we just have to keep our heads up for the home leg and we'll be on our way. On a random note: Anelka's goal was around the same time Henry scored the last time we beat Ireland - and they were both long shots. See you in France, Kev!
