As for Domenech - If we don't win against Serbia, I have a strong feeling he's getting the sack. I heard that he was given a minimum points requirement from his first 3 matches(5 points), so it looks like we need to win those next two matches for him to have any chance. I don't care about him, though, we need points, we can't afford to lose another match like this <_< |

Well, that was an interesting day of internationals. Watched most of the Scotland game, and it was truly dreadful. Listened to the second half of the Wales game and found it toturous in the extreme and felt they were very lucky to sneak a win. Didn't watch much of the England game, only the end of the first half and the second half as I was watching Murray in NYC. Felt that Joe Cole should have been on from the start instead of Downing, and after seeing moments of brilliance from Walcott, I feel he must be starting on Wednesday as well as supersub Cole. Capello may be moaning that he drifts out of position, but he's our best threat going forward, especially as Rooney is showing form that would get players like Defoe and Heskey dropped. Not that I'm implying anything there, obviously. |

I must admit, I'd be delighted with a draw. Shows how much the balance of power has shifted though, last time we went to Zagreb we thought we'd win. |

France's starting lineup for Serbia:
4-2-3-1 <_< Good to see Clichy and Sagna both starting, I don't know about Abidal in the center though, Squillaci would've been a much smarter choice.. Hopefully Gourcuff does well I'm not going to get excited until we score once, although 2 or more would ease the nerves

England have named their team... Joe Cole, Walcott and Heskey in. But no Beckham. Liechtenstein held Azerbaijan to a 0-0 draw! Russia only just beat Wales 2-1 while Andorra and Belarus are currently at 1-1
 Edit: ENGLAND 1-0 Finland 3 Germany 3 (F/T)...

Great draw indeed for Liechtenstein, especially after the way Azerbaijan played against Wales Germany 3-3?!  Estonia are getting screwed by the Bosnians as we speak
Luxembourg currently tied with the Swiss :ph43r: 0-0 for us French so far at the half <_< We had a chance through Henry but it was saved...hopefully we do well in containing them in the second half though.. |
