Rosenborg will face Valencia in the UEFA-cup tonight, at home and everything, but I won't attend it. I had tickets in the first place, but I gave it away as I'm very out of money now. A trip to Trondheim would not help tbh. I don't have the time either so...

As some of you might remember, Valencia has no great memories.from Norway. It's one year, one month and three days since Rosenborg beat, or trashed, Valencia at home in a classic match in the Champions League. Florez was sacked in Valencia and so was Rosenborg's Knut Tørum, ironcly enough after the club's biggest win for years. Tørum's faith was decided after losing 1-4 to Lillestrøm three days earlier, but the club wanted him to lead the team against Valencia. Not a stupid idea that.

Anywayyyy, here is the pictures of my best ever memory from the football world. Enjoy.

Posted Image
Quiet before the storm... About 40 mins before kick-off and Valencia is warming up in front of us.

Posted Image
Not a bad view from where I was. Good enough for me!

Posted Image
Valencia waming up on a perfect pitch

Posted Image
The match has started and Valencia spends a long time with the ball. They didn't come to Norway for entertaining, but win the match.

Posted Image
Albelda trying to break through Rosenborg's midfield.

Posted Image
Rosenborg corner in the first half. Cleared by Valencia.

Posted Image
Yssouf Konè gave RBK the lead after 55 mins. Received a good pass from Dorsin, sent away a hard shot that hit Canizares. The 38 year old could not keep the ball, though, and it just crossed the line. Kone celebrated and ran to Tørum, Rosenborg's struggling manager. A nice gest to Tørum in his last match in charge!

Posted Image
Rosenborg kept a good pressure through the entire game so Valenca never got control.

Posted Image
This is a snap shot taken 5 seconds before number 10, Vidar Riseth, scores his first ever Champions League goal. The goal that doubled Rosenborg's lead was nearly included on a picture! Now that would been the picture of the year.

Posted Image
The truth is speaking.

Posted Image
Full time! A legend match is history.

Posted Image
The players thanking for the support. No need for support in games like this, though!

Posted Image
Marek Sapara, a beast as always.

Posted Image
The Scottish referee did not do any big mistakes. The only decission I can remember is a booking to Traorè for diving, which was too much, cos he was actually hit. Many would disagree, though.

You never told me you were going!

Some good pics you got there as well, but no photos of cars :coffee: Was Solberg there? I bet it was cool being at Wembley. How big is it? 90,000 seater?

I told you ages ago, but forgot to mention it in the week before :|

I do have a few pictures of cars but you can't see them that clearly, like when Lewis Hamilton drove his McLaren F1 car around the track. Yeah, it's a 90,000 seater and was about half full yesterday. Solberg wasn't there, but there was a Team Scandinavia with a Dane and a Swede.

From Norway's World Cup qualyfier match v Netherlands in October:

Posted Image
Norway running up the pitch for a counter-attack after a failed, Dutch corner.

Posted Image
It's never hard to find the Dutch fans. The orange colours were well represented in the crowd, mainly Norwegian fans of Dutch football. Countries like England, Netherland, Germany, Argentina, Brazil are often more supported than Norway by our own people... Pathetic.
But of course, credit for the Dutch fans who came over to see their team on a Wednesday night vs Norway!

Posted Image
Dirk Kuyt in action. I wanted a photo of van Persie too, but he came on in the second half and played on the other side of the pitch. Pft.

Posted Image
At least some good seats we got! We had a good view to all places, and came close to the action. Niice.

van Bronckhorst taking a freekick for Holland.

An early christmas present to ligue: Match pictures from Elverum's E-cup match against US Creteil Handball

A big match for Elverum this was, even though the match tickets looked like bingo coupons.

Okey, a welcome present to Snorre: Pictures from Bodø/Glimt-Rosenborg in 2008. My far-away trip to meet my cousin, who lives in Sortland (Snorre knows where that is).

Bodø is 10 hours (train) away from Trondheim, so it was a hell of a trip. I dont know why I was going, though. Just to meet my cousin and watch a game for like two hours

Posted Image
The train left Trondheim at 7:40 AM, so I had to get up early. A challenge that is.

Posted Image
A newspaper is important for a trip like this. The front page was covered by economical topics, but you can also see Fabregas on the top of it. "The super substitute" scored in Spain's 3-0 win over Russia in the semifinal.

Posted Image
Typical nature in Northern Norway. There are a lot of nature between the towns in Northern Norway and it's very beautiful as well. If you ever go to Norway, you shouldn't visit Oslo or the east side, but places like this. But use plane, please. Starring at mountains for 10 hours is boring.

Posted Image
The trip turned out to be intresting when I realaised that we were driving in 200k/h and were on a great height.

Posted Image
The train was old too.

Posted Image
A nice view this is. You can say a lot about Norway, but it is a beautiful country.

Posted Image
At least this tourist will agree.

Posted Image
Some fjord.

Posted Image
Finally! The target was located and found: Aspmyra stadium. Not bad, cos I have never been in Bodø (except for one time, but we never left the airport.)

Posted Image
There were not many fans there when I entered the stadium. As you can see, Bodø/Glimt is not giving away their best seats for visiting fans... And why are they building a big store just behind a stadium? Are they not going to upgrade it by building a stand there or something? Weird...

Posted Image
At least there were sunny and a nice weather that met us up North.

Posted Image
There was a fair number of away fans at this match, in spite of the far distances. Many of them were probably RBK fans living in Bodø or cities around, though.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image
Bjørn Tore Kvarme enters the pitch for his last match. He retired after the match. Kvarme is a true legend, used to play in ASSE, Sociedad (team of the year 2002-03 as well), Liverpool etc...

Posted Image

Posted Image
Bodø/Glimt knows how to substitute players too!

Posted Image
Skjelbred in action.

Posted Image

Posted Image
Iversen on the left side. He should be into the box...

Posted Image
Bodø/Glimt scarf... :neured:

Posted Image
After my cousin left, I had to buy me a meal. I found a nice place with great food, even though the people said they would give me outdated food (they noticed my Rosenborg kit)

Posted Image
Eating my dinner at my hotel room. Not the most expensive hotel in Bodø, cos I was alone.

Posted Image
A TV and a bed... :notworthy:

Posted Image
Read some news at tele text in the morning. Saw that a guy was killed after a plane crash in Elverum (small plane) :eek2: Reading about Elverum made me miss my homeplace

Posted Image
Had to leave my room at 11:00, so I had a few spare hours. Took some pics.
