Indeed, it was. 40 Minutes of wait is a hell of a long time at a football stadium, starring at a pitch. I remember going into the hall where all the stores are to watch the discussions on TV

Here comes a few from Norway's 2-1 win against Argentina last year. I know I took some pics with my grandfather's camera, but God knows where they are. Messiiiii....   Some good seats I got

Okey, let's take a match where I didn't have good seats then  Stabæk - Rosenborg (2007)  A friend and I took the bus to Oslo one Saturday morning. Target: Rosenborg's match against Stabæk. Neither of us had been at Nadderud before, but we had a note with the road to the stadium. The bus trip did not cost anything, though, as my friend's father is bus driver  Between Oslo and Elverum, there is a mark saying "Oslo - 123" as in 123 km left. Some dude has written "PÅ" between Oslo and 123 so it's saying "Oslo on 1,2,3".. haha... funny  My friend tried to get a picture of it, but failed   Eating a Quarter-Pounder at McDonalds   Vegard and I thought we would struggle to find the stadium, but we found it.... 4 hours before the game There were no fans around, but we found a football and played it with outside the stadium   Ticket...  Such an ugly stadium...  This is the only picture I have from the match. A Rosenborg corner in the second half, in the match we lost 2-1, even after leading at half-time. Pathetic. |

McDonalds FTW!!!!!!! @Chris: Rosenborg-Aalesund earlier this season. I was still in the row for tickets when the teams walked on the pitch. I missed the first 10 minutes, so I got a picture of the match from outside the stadium. I'll post it later, dont worry

Rosenborg - Aalesund 2-2 (2007) I was in my summerhouse in Geiranger (west of Norway) in the beginning of this summer, so when I went to Trondheim I took the bus from there. It went in nightime, so I came to Trondheim around 7:00 AM. My mum picked me up at Lerkendal, but I got a picture of it in early daytime   12 Hours later I came back to watch our game against the struggling side Aalesund FK. Had a nice view from my seat, cos I didn't get tickets with the Core (singing fans). The Core will move to this stand this season, where they orginaly were when the supporter club was formed.  I can't wait to be here this season, cos we have a far better view to the pitch here. In spite of this being a match in holidays and also a Monday match, there were a lot of people watching Rosenborg this summer night.  Not a bad stadium after all  The players getting ready for the second half, at 0-0. The second half were going to be filled with some action, though.  Aalesund deadball. Aafk took the lead, surprisingly, but Rosenborg turned it around after goals by Iversen and flopout Braaten.   We are into the injurytime now, and Rosenborg were still 2-1 up. Therefore, Aafk's American keeper Adin Brown came up as an extra attempt in the finale minute. You can hardly see Brown in front of the referee here.  Rosenborg rushed up, trying to make it 3-1 in an open goal, but Aalesund fouled and gave Brown time to come back.  No goal... Instead, Adin Brown and Aalesund got a last chance, won a throw-in and guess who jumped highest and headed in 2-2... Adin Brown.  |

Yeah, back in 2007. I remember watching the goal from the stands, cos I wanted to come early in the row out of the stadium. When they scored I just smiled and went out. It was just so typical. And on my road out of the stadium, I heard the speaker say "Aalesund makes it 2-2..... goal by.... Adin Brown", I couldn't believe it. I saw he was into the box, but I didn't notice that he was credited the goal. A keeper is not supposed to score, dammit

Let's move on Rosenborg - Viking 4-2 (2007)  Celebrating the win.  People leaving the stadium after taking three points in this broadcasted match.  Olè!  Happy people going home.  Kjernen using pyro.... AFTER the game. Great  Lerkendal getting emptier. Rosenborg - Odd Grenland 1-2 (Cup, 2007)  Only 3.500 were borthered to see this match, that Odd Grenland won 2-1 after a goal scored in the overtime.. Pff...  THE picture of the year  Rosenborg-Astana 7-1 (Champions League, 2007)  One hour before the match... Some people already here.  Lerkendal sunbathing... getting ready for the first Champions League match since 2005. Rosenborg were 3-1 up after the first leg.  About 10.000 expected to come... Astana is not making Trondheim crazy after the tickets... I think those teams are cool to see, though  The match was never exciting. Astana gave up, cos the match was played in 1:45 AM (!) in their timezone. RBK were 2-0 up after 5 mins.  Kjernen did not bite their nails this evening...  Left back Micke Dorsin with an effort. Failed.  It's getting darker now and it smells Champions League in Trondheim... The speaker told us that Tampere had knocked Levski Sofia out, so Tampere would be our opponents in the last qualround. Rosenborg smelled a new Champions League adventure!   4-1 at halftime. Kone's overtime goal was weird. The keeper thought Kone was in offside, so he stoped, waiting for Kone to pass him the ball so he could take the freekick. Kone kicked the ball in the net and the ref gave the goal. Hahaha.  A goal.  5-1.... 6-1....  The fans showing up their scarfs as the club song is being chaunted.  "Eeeet bilde tån Ivers...."  Mhm..... Champions League... late games...flom lights.... Beautiful   Here is the proof: 7-1. 10-2 agg... What a match |
