Come on Dahl, keep this updated :neushades:

Stabaek 1 Rosenborg 2, sounded good  Apparently Demidov's goal was great? I can't find the goal online at the moment. Odd lost 3-2 to Lillestrom :o

When can RBK's title be confirmed? :|

HamKam are saved too, now that's epic :notworthy:

Odd beat Molde 2-1, do you think Molde will hang on to 2nd place, Marius or Snorre?

HamKam beat Kongsvinger 1-0 too B)

Three rounds to go, nine points left to play for and fight for now when the Norwegian winter weather is entering. Dark nights with cold atmosphere will probably effect players and fans as they are biting nails and hoping their team to survive, take medals and create moments. Tippeligaen 2009 is coming to an end.

A winner is crowned, Rosenborg have won their title again and one team is already relegated. FC Lyn with massive financial trouble survived the deadline, but they are stepping down after 2009. Other than that, 14 teams are still fighting. Let's first see the development in this year's league.

After five rounds

Molde and Rosenborg didn't waste time and they were fighting on the top immediately. I remember I didn't take them serious so early in the league, though. Lyn did not start bad at all and they only lost once in the opener! Big clubs like Brann, Lillestrøm, Vålerenga and Viking were horrible and seemed to be in the relegation battle!

After ten rounds

Posted Image
Rosenborg had taken over the lead, but in spite of being unbeaten they were not outstanding with too many drawn games. Molde were still close behind. More surprising, all the promoted teams (Odd, Sandefjord and Start) were inside top five!
Lillestrøm with another bad start, while Lyn kept losing space on the table. Vålerenga, Brann and Viking were finally starting to show class, but defending champions Stabæk were still 11th!

After 15 rounds
Posted Image
Half-way through the league and Rosenborg were already crowned champions by the Norwegian people, except themself of-course. Recent promoted Odd were still in the medal battle and Vålerenga's sudden good form made their fans start dreaming about a battle with Rosenborg for the title.

After 20 rounds

Poor Lyn. Major financial errors forced the capital team to sell keyplayers and they had still only won one game. Rosenborg unbeaten in the top, but Molde's recent 5-0 victory in the cup made doubts in Rosenborg. Four points is not a lot when there are 10 rounds left! Champions of 2007 and 2008 Brann and Stabæk found the old winning formula and Odd were now struggling in the medal battle. Vålerenga, who recently showed good shape, started a massive row of defeats and they were now back to nowhere.

After 25 rounds

Molde sliped up and Rosenborg were now one game from winning the league. Stabæk had taken over the medal spot that belonged to Odd for big parts of the season. Last year's runner ups Fredrikstad seemed to join Lyn to Adeccoligaen, but neither Bodø/Glimt, Godset, Aalesund, Lillestrøm or even Vålerenga could feel safe yet.

Now
Posted Image
Lyn will finish last and Rosenborg have won. Beating Bodø/Glimt 3-0 helped Godset up to a current safe spot, but they are still involved in the relegation battle. Will Fredrikstad really relegate after taking silver the year before? Cupfinalists Aalesund not saved just yet either.
Molde and Stabæk will play an important match in the next round and the winner will most likely finish second. Brann and Odd have to go for the 4th place since that will give a spot to Europe IF Molde wins the cup.

Next round (round 28):

Saturday, 17th of October:
Molde - Stabæk (4:00 PM)

2nd vs 3rd, tied with 47 points each. Will be a knacker of a game! Even though it "doesn't matter" if you finish 2nd or 3rd, it will be sad for Molde if they finish third now.

Sunday, 18th of October:
Bodø/Glimt - Tromsø (6:00 PM)

Bodø/Glimt HAVE TO WIN against their arch rivals Tromsø who wants to relegate their rivals in the battle of north. A shame this is on pay-TV!

Lyn - Strømsgodset (6:00 PM)
Quite special match for the chanceless Lyn this. I wonder how many who will go to this match. Important game for Godset though, who has a golden chance to take three very important points in the relegation battle. Can Lyn challenge them or is Godset getting easy points?

Sandefjord - Lillestrøm (6:00 PM)
A good season for promoted Sandefjord who is a good homeside. Lillestrøm has five points down to play-off and they want another few points to survive for the 35th year in a row.

Start - Aalesund (6:00 PM)
IK Start beat Rosenborg in the last round , as the only side so far. Can they make more glory at home this round? Aalesund is probably keen for a win to secure the spot for next season.

Viking - Rosenborg (6:00 PM)
Pointless game, but there is always a lot of prestigue in this match between the two most winning sides in the history. Who shows more willing in this match. Is Rosenborg just fooling around now that they have won or are they willing to revenge the defeat from last round?

Brann - Vålerenga (8:00 PM)
A derby between Norway's two biggest cities. Brann needs points to get a spot for Europe but Vålerenga have a good form lately!

Monday, 19th of October:
Fredrikstad - Odd Grenland (7:00 PM)

Can Odd challenge Brann in the battle for a European Cup spot or is FFK too strong at home, now that they are fighting against relegation?

You forgot to tell everyone Bodø/Glimt might play E-cup next season B)

I'm not really optimistic before the game against Tromsø. I'll take Tippeligaen 2010 as bonus. :|

Good preview

Bodo in the E-Cup next season? I hope you're not on about the Europa League because there's no way in hell you're making that (unless it's something to do with fair play) :|

Brann - Enga is going to be a very tight game. I'm feeling good about our chances though

What :|

That was a great update :thumb: I remember when Lillestrom were at the bottom and you made a relegation party thing on facebook

Rosenborg were great all season and it's a shame Start ruined the unbeaten run. I hope Molde gets second too and doesn't fall away. The Cup final will be very interesting too, maybe Aalesund could be in Europe! :eek2:

Goodbye Lyn, you sucked anyway.

He has started his desolation already: He want to short the league from 16 to 14 teams. Idiot.

Molde v Stabaek today - a battle for second place? They're both locked on 47 points. I hope Molde win as they deserve it, but it's been a good second half of the season for Stabaek. I predict 1-1
