YES OLIC In the final minute he scored to give Bayern Munich a 2-1 win over Manchester United! I still think United will win at home (especially since they have an away goal too) but at least Bayern Munich have something to take to Manchester  Lyon 3-1 winners over Bordeaux too... |

United LOST  I just hope Bayern doesn't crack under pressure, those bastards need to go!As for the Lyon match, it was a good game! Bordeaux take another hit after their Cup final loss, this could only help us in the league Let them suffer  Arsenal live tomorrow

The Bayern win has been tainted a bit by the news of Wayne Rooney. Mario Gomez appeared to tread on his foot and Rooney had to be helped off at the end - I think every Englishman is praying that it isn't a serious injury, otherwise we can say good bye to the World Cup. |

Strange that, considering you can't get it right yourself sometimes. Anyway, attention now switches to the other quarter-final matches tonight. Arsenal v Barcelona (on ITV1 for us in the UK) and Inter Milan v CSKA Moscow are the matches. Predictions? Arsenal 1 Barcelona 1 and Inter Milan 3 CSKA Moscow 1 for me. Arsenal-Barcelona should be a good match for the neutrals! A word on last night's incident - Rooney is awaiting his scan after yesterday's incident but Sky Sports News said earlier that he's expected to be out for 2-4 weeks. Phew. Rules him out of the Chelsea game at the weekend too

That was a great game. I must admit that was a great comeback by Arsenal, despite being outclassed for most of the match! Not sure about the penalty though  Barcelona will win at home though I think, especially with Fabregas out with a suspension. Arsenal have hope though and it definitely isn't over. Puyol and Pique will be suspended too...One of the great European matches. Should also mention that Inter Milan beat CSKA Moscow 1-0. A slim lead to take to Russia. |
