Bad news for Arsenal fans though with Fabregas saying he thinks he's "broken something". He's suspended for the Nou Camp match anyway but he could be out for the rest of the season.

Still waiting for news on Rooney's injury too, apparently we'll hear tomorrow morning.

Bayern deserved their win after more or less dominating the match. However, I feel that this was more reflective of the fact that Man Utd scored early and from then on Bayern had to attack at home. Man Utd still had a few good chances and hit the post twice...I'm confident for the second leg at Old Trafford, even without Rooney. He'll miss the Chelsea, Bayern and Man City matches. :(

I didn't see the other matches (only highlights) but sounds like Arsenal were dominated, I can't see them progressing. They have to win at Nou Camp, and without Fabregas for the rest of the season!

Inter and Lyon to go through as well.

So who will get a place in the semi-finals? We begin finding out tonight

Tonight's fixtures:
Barcelona v Arsenal (currently 2-2 on aggregate)
CSKA Moscow v Inter Milan (currently 0-1)

Tomorrow's fixtures:
Manchester United v Bayern Munich (1-2)
Bordeaux v Lyon (1-3)

Make sure you update your uefa.com Fantasy Football teams.

I think Barcelona should win at home. I fancy Inter Milan to advance too, although they'll be playing on the plastic pitch which gives CSKA Moscow an advantage.
Tomorrow I think United will still win although Rooney's absence will make it harder. Lyon to advance in the final quarter-final match.

CSKA Moscow 0 Inter Milan 1 - Inter Milan win 2-0 on aggregate.

Apparently it was a boring game. Sneijder's free kick won it for Inter and they'll go on to face...

Barcelona 4 Arsenal 1 - Barcelona win 6-3 on aggregate.

...Messi and co. That was the Messi show - four goals! :eek2: What a great player. I should get plenty of points in our Fantasy League for that :neutie: Good match too although not as exciting as the first leg.

Barcelona v Inter Milan then in a great looking semi-final. The champions of Spain and Italy played each other in the group stage: Barcelona 2 Inter Milan 0 and 0-0 at the San Siro.

Tomorrow we'll find out the other semi-final match up. Manchester United v Bayern Munich (1-2 at the moment) and Bordeaux v Lyon (1-3) are the matches.

Messi, why couldn't he be injured damnit :| Then again, we were always going to be screwed without Gallas or Song. Oh well, I'm looking forward to a Lyon/Bordeaux-Inter final.

Great to see United being knocked out B) Great game, I think we all thought it was over when it was 3-0! Robben to the rescue B)

Playing Rooney was a risk which seemed to backfire. Rafael's red card changed the game though...

Quarter-final second legs then:

Posted Image
Manchester United 3 Bayern Munich 2 - Bayern Munich advance 4-4 on away goals

Posted Image
Bordeaux 1 Lyon 0 - Lyon advance 3-2 on aggregate.

Posted Image
CSKA Moscow 0 Inter Milan 1 - Inter Milan win 2-0 on aggregate.

Posted Image
Barcelona 4 Arsenal 1 - Barcelona win 6-3 on aggregate.

Semi-final line-up:

Inter Milan v Barcelona
Bayern Munich v Lyon

No English representatives, instead there's one each from Italy, Spain, Germany and France.

It's so frustrating that Bayern has come back from that. :wall: Playing Rooney was a genius move, even Gibson started really well and Bayern had no match for United's first half as Nani and Valencia ran riot. Obviously Olic's goal got them back into the match, but it really was the ref who ruined it. Sending off Rafael for that is a joke, and going on to lose due to no fault of our own is just frustrating. Robben's goal was absolutely amazing...

Rafael's red was a bit strange. The first yellow was deserved but the second one...

Robben's goal :notworthy:

Semi final time then. The volcanic ash isn't stopping the teams either - Barcelona have had to drive to Milan to take on Inter (and probably the same for Lyon going to Munich).

Tomorrow sees Inter Milan v Barcelona. On Wednesday we'll see Bayern Munich v Lyon. Predictions? 1-1 in Milan and 3-2 Bayern Munich I'm going for.

Don't forget to update your uefa.com Fantasy Football teams either.

Bayern are in great form right now. Robben is going to rape!

As for Inter v Barca....I'll go with Barca.
