The Europa League is back then! Liverpool beat Unirea Urziceni 1-0 at Anfield. A frustrating night for them but they won at least. Ngog scored in the 81st minute - lucky. What a win that was!!  I didn't see the whole match since channels were being banned by the minute on Justin.TV and your site didn't work either, so I listened for most of it No pressure now, but at the same time we can't be too relaxed

Panathinaikos trashed Roma. I wouldn't be surprised if Ninis gets transferred to a big European club sooner or later and if Cisse gets called up for Frace for WC 2010

Indeed, nice overall result! Fulham drew 1-1 with defending champions Shakhtar Donetsk and have progressed! Great news for Fulham and they progress to play Juventus! Liverpool also through though

Round of 16 draw: Hamburg v Anderlecht Rubin Kazan v Wolfsburg Atletico Madrid v Sporting Lisbon Benfica v Marseille Panathinaikos v Standard Liege Lille v Liverpool Juventus v Fulham Valencia v Werder Bremen A word on Anderlecht's Romelu Lukaku - he's 16 years old and he scored an inspired Anderlecht to victory yesterday (the last view from uefa.com ). He's in the senior Belgian squad... but at 16

Juventus v Fulham, that's a big game in it's own right. I do want Fulham to win, but even if they don't and come close, they can still say they've entertained an Italian Giant! |
