Sunderland 2 West Ham 2

Table

Table

Chelsea continue to lead the table. :neushades: Arsenal are up to third.

Next Fixtures

Sunday
Birmingham v Man City

Look out for...

Aruna Dindane. Didn't have the best of starts with Portsmouth but today he got a hat-trick. He helped Portsmouth to a convincing victory and maybe this will be the start of their climb up the table after the recent off-the-field troubles.

...and finally

Did you see Chelsea's goals? Deco's goal - great turn and finish with his left foot. The last goal was the best though and one of the goals of the season. Deco chested it to Lampard, he backheeled it to Drogba and then he volleyed it into the net. Stunning goal. Chelsea have been great in attack recently: 4-0 v Atletico, 5-0 v Blackburn, 0-4 v Bolton in the Carling Cup and now 4-0 in the league against the same team. Atletico away and then Manchester United in the league after - can't wait!

Spurs collapsed inside 11 seconds earlier. Arsenal played well and deserved the victory.

Phil Brown's going to be sacked soon I think. His cause wasn't helped when Geovanni's great free-kick wasn't allowed after 'a push'. Rubbish. The 'beach ball' referee was the one behind this I should add.

Very strange that Benitez would take off his three best players (less Gerrard). Something is wrong with that guy, I think he'll go soon.

And seriously Admin, Chelsea's goals? First one was a massive dive from the usual, resulting in a penalty and a red card. From then on the game is as good as over. The 'wonder' final goal was offside. :neured:

That wasn't a dive  He was clearly tripped, although he did go down more theatrically than needed. True, the game was over, but still good finishes. I don't think the last goal was offside, maybe I need a closer inspection.

Get in, Chelsea 1 Manchester United 0! :D Terry scored the winner :D

Did anyone see Drogba's yellow? Ridiculous. Evans kicked Drogba in the chest and Drogba went down (not a dive or anything before Ligue says, it was a proper foul) - when Drogba got up, he was yellow carded?! :eek2: Carvalho's yellow card was wack too, unbelievable. Oh well, 3 points and a 5 point lead - and better still, United are third!

Next Fixtures

Monday
Liverpool v Birmingham

There will now be an international break.

...and finally

Great to get a win over United B) Replays have shown that Anelka got the final touch and so it might not be Terry's goal.

The game was quite boring in the first half but the second half was decent. Not happy with the referee though, giving pointless yellow cards out to Drogba and Carvalho (like I mentioned in my last post, and no, I'm not being biased ;) ). I think the referee was right about the Terry challenge on Valencia though (no penalty).

It's the international break coming up too, and England will play Brazil as I mentioned in the Football Pub. Here's the squad anyway:

Goalkeepers: Ben Foster (Manchester United), Robert Green (West Ham), Joe Hart (Manchester City).
Defenders: Wayne Bridge (Manchester City), Wes Brown (Manchester United), Gary Cahill (Bolton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Joleon Lescott (Manchester City), John Terry (Chelsea), Matthew Upson (West Ham), Stephen Warnock (Aston Villa).
Midfielders: Gareth Barry (Manchester City), David Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Michael Carrick (Manchester United), Tom Huddlestone, Jermaine Jenas (both Tottenham), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), James Milner (Aston Villa), Shaun Wright-Phillips (Manchester City), Ashley Young (Aston Villa).
Strikers: Darren Bent (Sunderland), Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe (both Tottenham), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)

It really does depend, if it's a big game then I'll get up to watch it (not that this wasn't a big game, but I was just super tired and a Sunday night as well).
