An interesting fact for Liverpool and 7th place. At the end of the 1998/1999 season, Liverpool finished 7th place and their manager at the time, who had the likes of McManaman, Fowler, Owen, Gerrard, Redknapp and OTHER English players, was sacked and replaced by a Frenchman.... So, if the same happens again, I wouldn't be surprised if the same was to happen... |

Matches today: Fulham 1 Sunderland 0 and Everton 2 Spurs 2. The latter game sounded crazy, Spurs were 2-0 up and then Everton made it 2-2. Defoe then missed a penalty for Spurs in injury time! |

I find it strange. I score my first EVER penalty in mid-week and then 4 players miss 4 penalties at the weekend.... |

So Blackburn on penalties, Lampard missed a penalty against Manchester City, Mikel made a last minute mistake against APOEL Nicosia and now some unlucky goals against Everton - when will the unluckyness end! Oh well, it's a point gained and a point further ahead of Manchester United who lost at home to Aston Villa!  Apparently Rooney dived  Looking forward to Match of the Day soon

Just saw Chelsea's highlights on Match of the Day. All three goals were lucky for Everton - they didn't deserve a point Chelsea's set piece problems continue. Carvalho seems crap now, I wish Alex would return quickly...

Liverpool 1 - Arsenal 2. Liverpool were in a very poor form. Bad passing, bad defending.. Plus, we should have gotten at least 3 PK's. The ref was alllll for Arse-nal. |
