I do seem to think that people are totally forgetting about Arsenal. They have looked really strong so far this season.

Although I forgot to mention Arsenal's 1-4 win over Pompey (and Manchester United's 5-0 win over Wigan), I haven't forgotten about Arsenal, and I don't think others have either. They have a game in hand and could go a point behind Chelsea, so they're definitely a danger. With Chelsea losing their African players and not on top form at the moment, they could easily go into first in January.

LIVERPOOL 1 - ASTON VILLA 0 :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:  :point: :point: :)

Torres scores in the 4th minute of added on time to give the reds the win. Liverpool are now up to 7th in the league table :point: :notworthy:

TORRRESSS!!! :point: :notworthy:  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

On a side note, Fernando Torres becomes the fastest player to score 50 goals on the Liverpool team.

Arsenal has some great performances lately, but I can't see us taking the trophy in the end cos our squad is too young. But it will be interesting to see how far we can go still, although this reminds me a little about the 2007-08 season where we had a stop in February-March where we didn't win for like 6 games, against opponents like Wigan, Birmingham and Sunderland. Better not happen this year.

When Arsenal's young players are older and more experienced, they'll be great I think. They might not win anything now but they will soon.

Anyway, should mention yesterday's Premier League match: Stoke 3 Fulham 2. Stoke were 3-0 up and Zamora got injured! Zamora for England won't happen then.

Arsenal should be playing today against Bolton if it's not called off due to all the heavy snow around. Can they go one point behind Chelsea? Probably.

Saturday's fixtures:

Arsenal v Everton
Birmingham v Manchester United
Burnley v Stoke
Fulham v Portsmouth
Hull v Chelsea
Sunderland v Bolton
Wigan v Aston Villa

Sunday:

Liverpool v Tottenham
West Ham v Wolverhampton

Monday:

Manchester City v Blackburn.

Two homegames coming up, hopefully six points then. Beat Everton 6-1 earlier too, but it's typical if we drop points now then.

Possible drop points for Liverpool and Man U too, can't see Chelsea fail against Hull.

We'll have to settle for Everton then, hopefully we don't lose that.

Arsenal is in with a shot - no doubt about that. But you guys say the same thing every year, 'the squad is too young'. When is the squad going to grow up already!

When we lose, people say we're inexperienced and when we win, people say that being young is a good thing :| I think this squad has what it takes to win the league, we just need a decent striker or two (Lacina Traore maybe?) and we'll be good.

yes, Arsenal definitely need a good striker. With RVP injured, Arshavin doesn't have it in him to play alone up there, and Eduardo doesn't really cut it.

The bad weather has meant the following matches have been postponed:

Burnley v Stoke
Fulham v Portsmouth
Hull v Chelsea
Sunderland v Bolton
Liverpool v Tottenham

Should also mention that Owen Coyle is now officially the Bolton manager after leaving Burnley.

Yay, now I don't have to bother waking up to listen to a defeat of Liverpool! :D

Just saw an interview with Arshavin on TV earlier. He's not used to having a bank account as he always used cash in Russia, and he hates parking here. He also didn't know it would be this cold :neulol:

Back to the serious stuff though - only Arsenal v Everton and Birmingham v Manchester United have survived the conditions. The rest have been postponed.

No defeat on the last 11 games for Birmingham. They better not be too confident now, though! I predict 0-2 at St.Andrews, but it's definitely an open game.

Hope for three points for Arsenal, but it's more predictable for United to drop points today.

EDIT: 0-1! Damn.
