I told Ligue about the Handball and I didn't get much comment from him about it. It just proves that the top players have to cheat to win. Gerrard, Terry (on someone else), Cesc, Drogba (years ago) and Ronaldo (years ago).

Just quoting this because it's funny

Anyway, saw an article about the Premier League wanting to have a Champions League qualification play-off for teams from 4th place to 7th. See it here.

Money grabbing idea I think, no need.

Yeah, too many games. And 7th could give a Champions League spot? No way.

I think this idea will be quite popular, especially for the likes of Aston Villa, Tottenham, Everton and now, Manchester City, who get so close to the top 4 but end up failing.

Personally I'd like to see different teams enter the Champions League other than the same top four but I think this is just a money grabbing idea. The league doesn't need to be altered - 38 games per season (in the league) and that's it is enough.

Lucky Man C, scoring a late strike AND Stoke got a goal ruled out  Incorrect.

Matchday 27: Part 1

Posted Image
Everton beat Manchester United 3-1 to help give Chelsea a four point lead at the top.

Results

Arsenal 2 Sunderland 0
Everton 3 Manchester United 1
Portsmouth 1 Stoke 2
West Ham 3 Hull 0
Wolves 0 Chelsea 2

Table

Table

Chelsea have moved four points clear at the top.

Next Fixtures

Tomorrow
Aston Villa v Burnley
Fulham v Birmingham
Manchester City v Liverpool
Wigan v Tottenham

Monday 22nd February
Blackburn v Bolton

Tuesday, 23rd February
Manchester United v West Ham

...and finally

Everton beat United in the earlier game so it was important that Chelsea took advantage (hasn't always happened when United dropped points). Chelsea did indeed with Drogba getting two. He's on fire this season B) I'm worried about Terry though - since the scandal he doesn't seem the same player. Mistakes against Everton and some today. We need them all on fire for the Inter Milan match, that's going to be big.

If Liverpool win today, I'll be having a field-day in school tomorrow with my teacher and head-teacher, since one supports City and the other supports United!

Well that didn't happen. :P I saw bits of the match, both teams were quite poor.
