Liverpool have re-taken the lead!

The tackle on Ramsey looks horrible, even in a still picture (video doesn't work)

You said "a still picture" so that doesn't suggest you saw the pictures I showed in the spoiler.

But a picture can be called a "still picture".

Jeez :| He said "a still picture" so that could be any still picture. Therefore I presumed he saw a different picture to the ones I posted and didn't know I posted some.

To avoid this being a debate about something stupid, here are today's results:

Liverpool 2 Blackburn 1
Sunderland 0 Fulham 0
Tottenham 2 Everton 1

Tottenham are back up to fourth.

Gotta feel sorry for Shawcross, I think it was very sympatic of Stoke's fans too when they sang songs for Ramsey as well. I wonder what punishment he'll have, but I don't hope for some long ban at all.

As for Bridge/Terry, what do people think? Childish and unfair or do you support Wayne Bridge? Had a long discussion with Cathy last night and she think Bridge should get over it since it was his ex and them both (Terry and the model) were up for it. Wayne Bridge has a child with this woman though, so that doesn't help... I support Wayne Bridge's decission.

I agree with Bridge's decision. He's taken a lot of crap in this whole thing, and he hasn't done anything wrong. It must be so embarrasing for him. Good work not shaking Terry's hand

BBC Sport

The Premier League has revealed it will not pursue the idea of a play-off for fourth place and the final Champions League place.

At the Premier League's board meeting on Thursday, chairmen decided against looking into the proposal any further at this stage.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal were reportedly quick to voice their opposition.

However, other clubs were keen on the idea in principle.

The idea, which was put forward at last month's meeting, was for automatic Champions League spots to go to the Premier League's top three, rather than the top four, teams.

And the sides finishing from fourth to seventh would play in a mini-knockout competition.

The proposal drew a mixed reaction from top-flight bosses, with Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez completely against it, but Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill described it as "interesting" and one that "people might go for".

Any change would have also needed the agreement of at least 14 of the 20 top-flight clubs, but there would not have been any changes for three years, anyway, as the next TV deal is in place.

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore admitted there was "not enough support" for the proposal.

"The main topic of discussion was the Champions League play-off for that fourth qualifying place," he told BBC Radio 5 live.

"We gave a lot of discussion, a lot of detail, a lot of data. But there was not enough support to take the idea forward, so we won't be discussing that proposal any further."

Thank god.

West Ham v Bolton
Wolves v Manchester United
