 Apparently the referee saw it in the game, so the FA can't act on it.

Anyway, Phil Brown has been sacked as Hull manager and Ian Dowie is replacing him. Ian Dowie, oh dear. :| I suppose he's right for their sort of level though.

Breaking news too: Portsmouth have now been docked nine points for going into administration. The Championship beckons.

 Well to be honest, the ref was shit! He let sooo many yellow card fouls go without a card, he's also the same ref that gave the ghost goal for Watford last season!

 Celebrate, since there is no chance in hell we'll beat United 4-1 again. Last season we was playing like gods, Real Madrid and Manchester United felt it. This season we've been scrappy, even though our last two games have been high-scoring, I doubt he can thrash United 4-1 again.

 Man. United already won today. 2-1 against Liverpool. Liverpool could finish anywhere between 4th and 9th at this rate... Although 4th looks very unlikely. I've got them pegged for 7th.


EDIT: Second goal for Man City, with Tevez. city look the strongest candidate for 4th right now.

 Maybe he's scared! Unlike him, I'd still post when we get beat. Ah well, I knew we wouldn't win, unless it was luck, even though I think Valencia did cheat A BIT for the penalty, come on he waited until he was in the area until he fell and even then he wasn't being touched in the area.

 I agree a little with TGL about the penalty, it was a foul but not necessarily inside the box. Nonetheless and solid, effective win, nothing more. Apart from the goal Liverpool created 0 chances, Man Utd kept the ball well and got the winner. Park :notworthy:

Makes it all better that Chelsea dropped points. 7 games left people :neutie:
