Manchester United beat Liverpool 2-1 and go top of the table...

Results

Blackburn 1 Chelsea 1
Fulham 1 Manchester City 2
Manchester United 2 Liverpool 1

Arsenal 2 West Ham 0
Aston Villa 2 Wolves 2
Everton 2 Bolton 0
Portsmouth 3 Hull 2
Stoke 1 Spurs 2
Sunderland 3 Birmingham 1
Wigan 1 Burnley 0

Table

Table

Manchester United are top of the table on 69 points. Arsenal are second on 67. Chelsea have a game in hand and could go second and a point behind United with a win against Portsmouth on Wednesday.

Next Fixtures

Tuesday
West Ham v Wolves

Wednesday
Aston Villa v Sunderland
Blackburn v Birmingham
Man City v Everton
Portsmouth v Chelsea

...and finally

I didn't post, Ligue and TGL, because I was out. Disappointing draw against Blackburn indeed but Chelsea always struggle against them so it wasn't a surprise really. Quite a boring match too until Diouf scored. Should get three points against Portsmouth - if not then there really is something wrong.

Dyer - you wanted to know about Chris Kirkland - click here.

One for Ligue - Aruna Dindane couldn't play for Portsmouth because it would have costed them £4m - see here.

The scores from yesterday:

Aston Villa 1 Sunderland 1
Blackburn 2 Birmingham 1
Manchester City 0 Everton 2! - See the melee between Moyes and Mancini :neulol:
Portsmouth 0 Chelsea 5

That's a good win to raise the confidence after the dismal past few days. Anelka was dropped at the start for Sturridge as he hasn't scored for 10 games! Drogba was lucky with the first though as James did an air shot  Malouda with two goals - he's really on form at the moment. :notworthy:

One point behind United, come on.

7 games left, Man U in first, Chelsea a point behind, and Arsenal a point behind that. I'm still after Gunners for the championship.

I think this season's title challenge will be even more interesting that last years! And if that doesn't get you interested, you've got the race for 4th place.

Tottenham to beat Arsenal 3-1 :(
I think they'll beat City 2-1 as well and grab the CL spot from there.
United to beat Chelsea 3-1 as well and I think CFC will lose at Anfield too.

Keygame in the relegation battle, Wigan 0-1 Hull, but Hull will still relegate.

Can't believe you found this

Anyway, here is mine:

Chelsea have harder games so I eventually predicted them to finish 3rd :o I think they'll draw against Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool in the big remaining games.

Very close for me in the race for 4th place!

Chelsea 7 Aston Villa 1 - yes, you read that correctly! :point:

What a win, that should keep the critics quiet that we're off form! Do that again in the FA Cup semi-final! Drogba was kept on the bench for the game too - Chelsea have scored 25 goals in 6 games with Drogba out I think (or 26 now, I've lost count :P ). Manchester United are up next so I wouldn't rest him for that though.

Lampard scored four goals (two from penalties though) :notworthy:

Arsenal dropping points (1-1 against Birmingham) makes this day even better. If United drop points against Bolton then that would be amazing.
