Well he scored for United against Wigan! They won 5-0 - what a turn around after that Burnley match! Arsenal beat Portsmouth 4-1 earlier. Apparently Arsenal played like champions and Pompey's goal came out of no-where. Fabregas went off at half time - I wonder why. David James went off injured too so he won't be appearing for England soon Matchday 3 report to come late this evening. |

Matchday 3: Part 1![]() Manchester United bounced back from their 1-0 humiliation to Burnley by thrashing Wigan 5-0 away! Results Arsenal 4 Portsmouth 1 Birmingham 0 Stoke 0 Hull 1 Bolton 0 Manchester City 1 Wolves 0 Sunderland 2 Blackburn 1 Wigan 0 Manchester United 5 Table Table Arsenal lead on goal difference. Next Fixtures Sunday Burnley v Everton Fulham v Chelsea West Ham v Tottenham Monday Liverpool v Aston Villa Look out for... Shaun Wright-Phillips of Manchester City. He's impressed me so far this season and Capello should definitely call him up for the upcoming matches against Slovenia and Croatia. Arsenal's Diaby was decent too. He was in the right areas for his two goals and looked decent. Ghilas of Hull City is my third player to look out for this season. Scored the winner for Hull City in their win over Bolton and looked lively up front. His partnership with Altidore looked good... ...and don't look out for! Oh dear... Kalinic, Blackburn's £6m signing. The Croatian terribly missed 3 chances. I could play better than him ...and finally After saying how impressive Wigan were in their opening match of the season, they were brought back to Earth with a 5-0 thumping and a defeat to Wolves in mid-week. Hugo Rodallega was my player to watch in the first matchday but today he wasn't as good. He even nearly got sent-off after a spat with Vidic, nearly elbowing the referee! He's got to improve to prove that I'm not picking crap players Arsenal fans - don't get too excited They might be top but Everton collapsed, the goals v Celtic in the Champions League were lucky and Portsmouth were crap Finally - did you hear about Calum Davenport? The West Ham defender was STABBED in both legs at his home His mother was hurt too! Two men have been arrested... |

Chris, you're an idiot if you can't admit that Arsenal have been excellent so far. And no, you couldn't played better than any Prem.player. You have proved that in our penalty shootout

Owen scored! I hope he scores some more as well! But the most in form team/player in PL right now is Tottenham and Defoe. |

Well that's your opinion Marius And it was a joke, of course Kalinic would do better than me - but he was poor yesterday.I agree with you though, Babis - Spurs and Defoe are doing great at the moment. Chelsea won 2-0 away to Fulham, nice. Fulham's normally a tough place for Chelsea but not today. Should also mention Burnley too! They won again! This time they beat Everton 1-0!

Matchday 3: Part 2![]() Burnley won again! They beat Everton 1-0 at Turf Moor! Maybe they're doing a Hull 2008... Results Today Spurs continued their great form with a 2-1 win over London rivals West Ham. Defoe scored again - one of my players to watch last round. Chelsea won their London derby against Fulham too. Fulham's not always a happy place for Chelsea but Drogba and Anelka helped them to three points. Burnley continued to surprise after their 1-0 win over Manchester United with another 1-0 win... this time over Everton. West Ham 1 Tottenham 2 Fulham 0 Chelsea 2 Burnley 1 Everton 0 Arsenal 4 Portsmouth 1 Birmingham 0 Stoke 0 Hull 1 Bolton 0 Manchester City 1 Wolves 0 Sunderland 2 Blackburn 1 Wigan 0 Manchester United 5 Table Table Spurs are first, Chelsea are second. 3 games in. Next Fixtures Monday Liverpool v Aston Villa Look out for... Read the last report, but here's who I have so far: Matchday 1: Rodallega (Wigan), Hart (Birmingham) Matchday 2: Jensen (Burnley), Defoe (Spurs). Matchday 3: Wright-Phillips (Man City), Diaby (Arsenal), Ghilas (Hull). ...and finally Can Burnley keep winning? I think they'll be like Hull last year - a good start, then they fell away. Opinions? Chelsea are next at the Bridge, then Liverpool at Anfield, then Sunderland (home) and Tottenham (away). Joleon Lescott is moving from Everton to Manchester City for £22m - what! Finally - Drogba and Anelka - what a partnership, did you guys see?
