Decided I would make one, I know its a bit late but still :|

With all the teams in Scotland, running low on the financial side of things. It can't stop a cracking season. Rangers managed to keep a hold of Bougherra, Davis and Mendes. Celtic bringing in a new manager, and a fresh new team. Saint Johnstone, newly promoted haven't featured in the SPL for a long period of time.

Matchday 1:

Aberdeen kicked off the new season with a home defeat to the hands of Celtic. Rangers then kicked off after the unfurling of the league flag in front of the 55 thousand that showed. Saint Johnstone put up a decent fight against the mighty Well. And Hamilton lost away to Killmarnock.

Aberdeen 1 - Aluko 61
Celtic 3 - McGeady 29,42. McDonald 44

St Johnstone 2 - Davidson 34. Gartland 61
Motherwell 2 - Hutchinson 56. Forbes 66

Rangers 4 - McCulloch 14. Miller 34,72. Naismith 83
Falkirk 1 - Finnigin 24

Kilmarnock 3 - Kyle 34,52. Hamill 68
Hamilton 0

Hibernian 2 - David Wotherspoon 39. Benjelloun 83
St Mirren 1 - McGinn 38

Dundee United 2 - Cadamarteri (pen) 4, 84
Hearts 0

I do, I really think that Hearts and Dundee United will cause a challenge home and away to Rangers and Celtic.

Nice start to the thread.

And in reply to the question, I can't see it really :| I'll be amazed, but you never know - it has to happen sometime. With Rangers and Celtic in European action, this would be a great time for the other teams to pick up points from the two tired teams.

Celtic beat Hibernian by the way :point:

Considering it was ANOTHER dive, and the celtic fans went mad when Edurado went down. I wouldn't be surprised if we all complained. Same old celtic always cheating ;)

That doesn't mean UEFA will get involved! :roneu:

I haven't seen this 'dive' yet, all I know is that he was sent-off. Show me it

Damnit. Rangers drew 0-0 and Celtic couldn't take advantage of it - only a 1-1 draw against Dundee United.

Rangers were lucky though - Bougherra sent off and a missed penalty for Motherwell :tsk:

I thought you had a season ticket, Cammy? You weren't there...
