If Nigeria beats Korea and Greece lose to Argentina, head to head matches will decide who goes through. Therefore, Korea's heavy defeat today wont count.

Korea GD: 2-0
Greece GD: 2-3
Nigeria GD: 1-2

Nigeria must beat Korea by 2 goals then in order to advance? Greece can't go through if they lose so they must have a point.

If Greece and Korea wins, three teams will have 6 points too:

Argentina GD: 4-1
Korea GD: 3-4
Greece GD: 0-2

So if Korea beats Nigeria and Greece beats Argentina by 4 goals, Greece and Korea goes through! :|

Good games today indeed! Hopefully more of the same to come.

Argentina were impressive  Higuain with a hat-trick, nice. They were caught napping with the South Korean goal though. Nigeria-Greece was good too but they only won because of the red card. Greece weren't doing so well before that. The Nigerian goalkeeper was good but spilled the ball for the winner. Not a good World Cup for goalkeepers

Interesting group certainly.

France and Mexico to complete the second round in group A then. Hard to find a favourite here to be honest. A draw would be perfect for the thrill before the last round. A draw is the only option that can give the hosters a decent chance before the last round too.

This game is boring too. Ronaldo has shown both sides to his game - a dive and some skill (and a great shot). Hopefully Drogba comes on and scores - or anyone!

 After driving 14 hours to watch the game, and 14 hours back, for that? Disappointing

Exactly, you saw a World Cup match. I'd travel 14 hours to see a World Cup 0-0 :|coffee

France-Mexico, 0-0 at half-time. Disappointing France again, Mexico seem more likely to win this I think. France should have a second striker to partner Anelka...

Oh dear. All those big name players and they can't put a good team together. 2-0 defeat to Mexico and they're on the brink of elimination. Domenech is stupid - when you need a goal or two, put a striker on! He took Anelka off at half-time for Gignac put didn't put on another striker later on, leaving Cisse and Henry on the bench! :| France will be good with Blanc but for now they're ruined with Domenech. Can't believe he got them to the 2006 World Cup final. They've been bad ever since Euro 2008 and haven't improved since.

Good players, bad team.

Uruguay and Mexico just have to draw against each other to advance now. I should mention Mexico here though, they were good tonight.

Alle's in tears.

More interesting news regarding Spain and their defeat to Switzerland - there's an alternative explanation:

BBC News

Spanish football fans have been speculating that goalkeeper Iker Casillas may have been distracted by his TV reporter girlfriend.

Attention focused on Casillas after Spain's shock 1-0 defeat to Switzerland in their first game of the World Cup.

His girlfriend, Sara Carbonero, once voted the world's sexiest journalist, was filming behind the goalmouth before the game.

She then conducted a post-match interview with Casillas.

The wives and girlfriends of Spanish players, known as esposas y novias (wives and girlfriends), are barred from accompanying them to the tournament.

Before the World Cup, when it was announced Carbonero would be in South Africa doing her trademark post-match interviews, she dismissed claims she would be disruptive, saying: "Can I destabilise the team? I think it's nonsense."

In Wednesday's match, Swiss midfielder Gelson Fernandes bundled the ball into Spain's goal in the 52nd minute of the game.

Casillas had rushed out to tackle a Swiss forward, but failed to grab the ball, which fell luckily for Fernandes.

Later, Spanish football websites carried comments suggesting that the presence of 25-year-old Carbonero could have affected Casillas's performance.

Casillas said in the post-match interview that the players were "annoyed" at the defeat.

Carbonero, who was voted Sexiest Reporter in the World by FHM USA last year, has been dating the Real Madrid goalkeeper since 2009.

Before their opening match, Spain were rated as co-favourites to win the tournament alongside Brazil.

Haha, you're probably reading this wondering what she looks like, so:

Ah, that's why they lost.
