I'd still give the advantage to South Korea. though Greece did well they have to play Argentina next, who look very impressive. Interesting group though, Marius' summing up of all the scenarious was fairly indepth! Sucked in France, they deserve it. The only shame is that now South Africa won't advance to the next round. Hilarious stuff in ireland!  Key match for England tonight. Anything less than a big win will be detrimental for them. Also, if Slovenia can snatch a draw against the US, they're pretty much through.. Also hoping for a big German win tonight against Serbia

People claim that Argentina will use subs... But those subs are Diego Milito, Palermo and Kun Aguero up front... But if they use subs in defence as well we got a chance

Germany 0 Serbia 1. That Spanish referee was so bad. Three yellows and a red for Germany (Klose with two yellows) and four for Serbia. Apparently he gave out 11 red cards in 17 La Liga matches or something? Not surprised. Some of the yellows weren't deserved, the referee was handing them out like candy. Klose being sent off after 30 minutes completely changed the game and Serbia scored straight away. Germany had a few opportunities to win it though, including a missed penalty (  ) by Podolski. What was Vidic doing for the penalty anyway, that's the second penalty Serbia have given away through a handball!  Shock result but the referee certainly helped. It's certainly made the group more interesting though! If Australia beat Ghana then all teams have three points ahead of the final round! England v Algeria later - David James is being rumoured to start!  Apparently Green's been dropping a few catches in training and hasn't looked solid after the USA match. That's going to hit his confidence so much. Didn't expect this at all.

Group D is open as a book now! If Australia wins tommorrow, it would be epic! And I think they will too, even without Cahill. |

Slovenia 2 USA 2. Good game actually! Slovenia were 2-0 up and the USA came back to draw 2-2! They should have had a third goal but the referee ruled it out for offside - horrible decision. Slovenia were actually close to qualifying! If it stayed at 2-0 then they would have been the first team to go through to the next round, wow. England really need to beat Algeria later. Can't wait. |

Gutted about Slovenia/USA. Can't believe Slovenia didn't win. Does kinda ruin us a bit. Need a win, and then also beat Slovenia really. |

Slovenia were lucky against Algeria but seems to be a good side anyway. Go England tonight! Fed up by all the failures from the big sides now! Please, don't send me a letter, ZZ

It wasn't an offside call, the flag was down. The ref apparently noticed an infringement in the box, but several replays couldn't find anything wrong. |
