Incredible result, your best result in history surely! Just imagine if you guys beat Paraguay! I can't see it happening and New Zealand will probably go out, but whatever happens, New Zealand have surpassed expectations and can go home with their heads held high! I still can't believe that though. Whenever people talk about the great World Cup shocks, we can actually say we saw Italy, the world champions, draw with the minnows New Zealand. OK, it was only a draw, but it feels like a win for the New Zealanders like NZ himself says. Wish I was in New Zealand now to see the reaction! This World Cup has certainly come to life after the dull matches in the opening round. France are looking likely to go home and are falling apart, England are crumbling under the pressure after The Sun called it an "EASY group", Germany could fail to qualify (although their defeat to Serbia was down to the referee I feel) and Italy are also in danger. The Netherlands weren't playing their best football either while Brazil only just beat North Korea 2-1, while Spain lost their opener 1-0 to Switzerland! I think England, Germany and Italy will eventually qualify but it's very interesting now! Brazil face a tough match later against the Cote d'Ivoire, which will be very interesting! Portugal will face North Korea too, and if the Koreans play like they did against Brazil then that will be one to watch! Spain will surely beat Honduras and eventually qualify. After a dull start, it's definitely come to life now. |

How close was that Chris Wood strike near the end? Imagine if that went in! Still, we'll by all means settle for a point. Look at it this way: New Zealand so far - undefeated in two matches My facebook page is flooded

England are also undefeated, NZ... Although if I'm honest, there hasn't been a single team in this years world cup that has really dominated... Could be anyone if I'm honest. |

The dutch haven't exactly dominated have they! 2 wins, but neither dominant. Argentina, yes... But still, not exactly world beating class, is it? |

No you missed my point. I'm not saying we've dominated in any way, I'm merely saying how happy I am that we haven't been thrashed beyond redemption like in our last world cup appearance

Brazil 3 Cote d'Ivoire 1. Luis Fabiano with two handballs for the second goal! Ridiculous red card for Kaka at the end, he hardly touched Keita at the end! Reminds me of Rivaldo against Turkey in 2002 when the ball was hit at his leg and he fell down holding his face. Good play from Brazil with some well taken goals. Well timed run and header by Drogba - it looked so easy. |

Here's the statement that weirdly enough was read about by Domenech. When you read it, you'll see why that's strange

They are not SUPPOSED to do well, but you gotta admit that the African teams have been more highlighted in this World Cup. It's mainly about South-Africa, obviously, and Robben Island and all that, but it's a party for African football that they finally gets a WC. Therefore, it would be great if at least a few African teams did well. If you, as an African, don't share that view, then allright ![]() By the way: Kaka, you have lost the respect. Fabiano? Who is that? On line with Henry. And the rest of the French team. REFUSE to train in a FIFA World Cup? HAHAHA! If I was the leader of French football I'd have one thing to say to the French players: You go and practice or you will never wear the French jersey again. Go warm up or you'll be on the next plane home. |

No I want the African teams to do well but the climate in SA is different to the other african teams competing so gives them no advantage. But I see what you mean.

Congratulations to New Zealand... Lol at Cote D'Ivore player faking he got hit from Kaka, just to get him suspended from the next match vs Portugal, a desicion which actually favours Portugal instead of Cote D'Ivore. |
