I'm personally angry at the display. Even though, when we were getting it our way, we were amazing! Just, can't seem to sustain it for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Gutted that we didn't qualify. Had an excellent chance of topping that group and we'd be facing Ghana now for a semi final place. We could've definitely done it
You wouldn't have even been seeded in that group and even if the Republic of Ireland were in that group, you wouldn't have got out of it.
What? Yes they would've. Pot 4.

Oh yeah, France weren't in the top seeds, South Africa were  My comment still stands though, the Republic of Ireland wouldn't have got out of the group.

Mexico doing very well at the moment. Imagine Argentina going out today. Since February/March everyone have talked about this duel between Rooney and Messi in the world cup and how this tournament was going to decide who's better, but neither of them have scored!

Messi have done good, though, but still...

Well Mexico have just had a bad decision against them. Offside goal given by the referee. That's the second time today where video technology could have been used. Everyone saw it on the TV screens inside the stadium but it was too late for the referee to change it...

The 2010 WCs even beats the 2002 World Cups in bad refereeing... The linesmen should have seen both situations easly...

Video technology would make it so much easier. They'd get the decision within seconds. It's proved successful in other sports too...

Jesus christ you're thick!!

We would have gotten out of that group. We'd have drawn against Uraguay and beaten South Africa and Mexico. We;d heave easily beaten South Korea and definitely could beat Ghana. We had a great chance of getting to the semi's. If you look at our last 3 groups in the World Cup this is by far the easiest, and we've never not qualified out of a World Cup group

I wasn't thinking :|

I doubt Ireland would have beaten Mexico, South Africa and South Korea if I'm honest. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion though

Yeah but with the two decisions we've seen today, you don't even need video tech to see what the right decision was.

I've trained as a ref and the intense training you need to get to a top level should mean we see some decent refs. The refs for this world cup are meant to be the best in the world.

Mexican and Argentinian players fighting behind one of the benches  Allright, the ref made a mistake, but do they have to fight? :|

Yeah that always makes me wonder - what do they think they'll accomplish by arguing and fighting?
