Yeah I read afterwards that they were Angolans, but to be honest, I don't care who it was. They're all terrorists IMO, militant my ass. I read yesterday that these guys won't stop either and their secretary said that it could've been Ghana or the Ivory Coast. They have nothing better to do than try and fuck up a tournament He also said that he warned CAF's president of the recent violence going on there before the tournament, but the president chose to ignore him. Malawi has just defeated Algeria, 3-0! Shock of the tournament already! And don't try and deny it either ZZ, this is just unacceptable I thought Malawi wouldn't do so well in this group, but it looks like they've made a statement already BBC Report.

Oh Algeria! Nice win Malawi! Can't wait to see ZZ's response after that!Burkina Faso just pulled off a shock too - they drew 0-0 with the Ivory Coast! This tournament has been great so far, a shame the Togo stuff is overshadowing it. I wish the BBC had this on live, they're only going to show the semi-finals and finals.I saw Angola's highlights earlier. How did they mess up a 4-0 lead! Well played Mali.

That's FUCKING Class. The guy bet £4,400 when they were 4-0 up, and lost it all. What a fool. EDIT: I wanna know if he can loose that money on Ghana winning... Lol. Edited by Lee Vilenski, Jan 11 2010, 07:03 PM.

I wouldn't call that a shock since Burkina Faso does have some talent, but the Ivorians were unlucky Bakari Kone missed a golden opportunity 20 minutes before the end

Egypt beat Nigeria (3-1) yesterday while Benin and Mozambique drew (2-2). It's currently half-time in Cameroon's match and Gabon are leading, 1-0, thanks to the man himself: Daniel Cousin! Come on Gabon!

Are you forgetting that I'm supporting Gabon for this tournament? I do like Cameroon though of course, but I want to see Gabon do well since they remind me of Senegal (when we were actually doing well).EDIT: GABON won, 1-0!

Zambia 1-1 Tunisia. Zambia led and really should have won, dominating both in possession and chances. Their heading ability let them down. |

I saw the goal, Ziani involved Lemoucchia left because of "family reasons", but it was more because he wasn't playing Angola also won their match against Malawi, 2-0. Ivory Coast-Ghana tomorrow Preview here.

Ivory Coast v Ghana - the pre-tournament favourites! Should be an epic match. Essien's going to start on the bench for Ghana after being injured for Chelsea against APOEL Nicosia. No doubt he'll come on though to face Drogba and Kalou and co. I predict 2-2
