Anyone remember Steven Bradbury? The winter Olympics 2002. He won the race after all of his competitors fell over in front of the finish line. Australian press went insane. Edited by Lee Vilenski, Dec 19 2009, 06:27 PM.

Hahaha, indeed. Was a guy in Norway who won an award after that and many newspapers and people thought it was undeserved. He said in an interview that "I felt like an Australian ice skater" |

Lol. I liked it. First Australian Winter Olympic gold medal. He did an interview after the race, and was just saying how he knew he couldn't win... And they all fell over, he was stunned. |

Think about it Christopher. You are crowded by your biases. Because you are English, any English victory is held in more regard than any other, same with Rogers'. This was the first time (I believe) someone from the southern Hemisphere won a Winter Olympic gold medal. And, in bizarre circumstances. The guy lucked his way to the final and then won. Quite incredible. |

With out doubt, Australia qualifying for the 2006 World Cup: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpqdaVBqRsQ I was there on the night and still get goosebumps every time I see the footage. The commentary is classic too. But Lee's moment is really great too, one of my favourites. Admin, your moment sucks. Chris Moore's one sucks because he only just started to support them. He has supported them for like two months, he didn't even watch the final I guess
