Group F
The standings were set in stone on Matchday 5. Olympique de Marseille's 3-0 success at FC Spartak Moskva, who had beaten them 1-0 in France, took them three points ahead of the Russian side and confirmed second place behind Chelsea FC, who clinched first place by beating MŠK Žilina 2-1. The Slovakian side will aim for a first point against UEFA Europa League-bound Spartak while Marseille play Chelsea.

:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

As for this match against Chelsea, DD stated that there's no pressure on the squad :neuwine: I'm counting on Arsenal tomorrow too.

Meh, barely any surprises in this group stage. Let's just get it over and done with to start next year's knockout rounds already.

FCK winning 3-0 against Panathinaikos, I can't find words to describe my frustration. Call me jealous or whatever, but hey:

Rosenborg 2-1 FCK
FCK 1-0 Rosenborg

Away goal defeat, giving £10 millions to Denmark, £2 to Norway.

And see the groups we got:

Barcelona ---- Atletico Madrid
Panathinaikos ---- Leverkusen
Rubin Kazan ---- Aris
FC København ---- Rosenborg

I think our group looks stronger tbh. They're going through to the knockout of the CL, we'll be left as shite in the EL. Just because of the away goal rule.

Thanks.

Matchday 6: Part 1 results

Barcelona 2-0 Rubin Kazan
Benfica 1-2 Schalke 04
Bursaspor 1-1 Rangers
FC Copenhagen 3-1 Panathinaikos
FC Twente 3-3 Tottenham
Lyon 2-2 Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Man Utd 1-1 Valencia
Werder Bremen 3-0 Inter Milan

Copenhagen won and are through, nice! B) Tottenham top their group ahead of the defending champions, who lost 3-0 to Werder Bremen! :o They rested players some players though and clearly had an eye on the Club World Cup coming up soon.

Anyway, here are the final Matchday 6 fixtures that will be played tonight:

AC Milan v Ajax, GpG, 19:45
Arsenal v Partizan Belgrade, GpH, 19:45
Bayern Munich v Basle, GpE, 19:45
CFR 1907 Cluj-Napoca v Roma, GpE, 19:45
Marseille v Chelsea, GpF, 19:45
MSK Zilina v Spartak Moscow, GpF, 19:45
Real Madrid v Auxerre, GpG, 19:45
Shakhtar Donetsk v Braga, GpH, 19:45

I'd like to say for the record that as group winners, the Marseille-Chelsea match doesn't mean anything for us, apart from trying to get form back. The group is sorted already so if Marseille win, don't go over the top, Alle  We're resting Anelka and Ashley Cole, so this would be a perfect time for Drogba to get his form back, playing at his old club. I wonder what reception he'll get! I'd love a win as Marseille are a tough opponent and that would do well for our confidence, but really, it's a dead rubber.

Oh no you don't! :neuman: If we win, you'll get your fair share of shite on your doorstep (I didn't forget your constant bullshit on MSN after the 2-0 ;) ).

Kind of hoping for a Marseille win here just to see the reaction. Though yes, it is a dead rubber.

I will bomb your MSN like the Russians bombed your World Cup bid eh cunt " "

But a win isn't certain, we lost to Nice on the weekend, Gignac is out, so we'll see. DD is gonna play for the win obviously, but he's also telling the players to have fun, so we'll see how that works. If we lose, it's no surprise, but if we win - dead rubber (what a gay expression IMO, just trying to downplay as usual cunt) or not, you can go kiss Ancelotti's eye-brow raising arse.

What can I say, Alle - 2-0 - Chelsea win the Battle of The Complex :)
What can I say cunt, no you didn't :)

Marseille 1-0 Chelsea :)

I love how you always try to downplay things when our sides win. So when Arsenal screw Chelsea, you'll probably have something to say there as well. This was still a Champions League match in which the likes of Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, John "wife fucker" Terry, Salomon Kalou, and Florent Malouda played. I think you can shut your cunt tonight son.

BRANDAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :point: :point: :point:

Could've been 3-0 if Heinze got his goal (ruled foolishly offside, the replays even show it) and Valbuena scored early on. No worries though, we'll certainly take this going into the knockout rounds!

I'm not going to rise to your comments because going mad over a dead rubber is pathetic  I could just say we won 2-1 overall  All that matters is that we top the group and avoid the big teams, unlike Marseille and Arsenal. Every time my teams win, you downplay it and try and turn it around, and now you're saying the same about me - laughable really. Marseille can have their win, but we'll take first place.

Anyway, serious comments - it was a dead rubber but we needed a performance, and again it didn't come. It's beginning to become frustrating watching Chelsea. Maybe we need the big matches (Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal coming up next) to get us going again.

"2-1 overall", you're just saying that because there's nothing else good to say about your boys tonight " ". Battle of the Complex, who the hell cares seriously. The CL is what matters. You guys beat us at the Bridge, we beat you at the Velodrome, 1-1 is what I'm saying in terms of wins but if you really want to make yourself happy with 2-1, do what you want. As far as I'm concerned we beat a good Chelsea side tonight and I'm proud of my boys. You can try and classify this as "dead weight" but when we look at the football that was on show at the Velodrome, I don't think so. I'm sure if Chelsea won, you'd be saying otherwise.

As for the downplaying, I never downplay? I say so and so was crap - something you couldn't do because you're too proud cock to do so. Take the loss mate, that's all I'm saying. Chelsea have been shite lately anyway so you've got nothing to say. I'm sure if we asked the experts they'd say "Was this really a dead rubber match or have the last few matches actually been 'dead rubber' for Chelsea? Ever since Ancelotti's right hand man left, they've been crap".

The draw is next Friday at 12pm CET. Who do you want your club to get? I'd love for Chelsea to get revenge on Inter Milan, especially as they're not doing so well themselves right now. Milan would be harder - and I think we'll get them :P I think we can beat any of these teams if our form gets back. At the moment though, I'm not sure if we can even beat Copenhagen...

Malouda and Kalou diving for goals eh? That's no way to score boy :| I'll admit, I thought "WTF" when the ref said penalty on the first one, alot of confusion there - felt good when he turned you bastards down right afterwards though :neuwine:

Hopefully we get Schalke or Shakhtar (for revenge after last season  ). As long as its not Barca or Madrid :neutie:

I reckon you'll get Schalke!

I loved your comment earlier on MSN - "why can't Arsenal get OM?"
