I told you, retard - I forgot for a second that Arsenal weren't first, fool (since I'm used to them being top - and I remembered a split second after) And like I said on MSN, I wouldn't want them anyway since I like them, it was just a question.Schalke would be nice though

Calm down, guys... The important note of the match was not Marseille winning or Chelsea toping. The most important thing was... that Kalou showed his ass! HAHA!

Tottenham really did well, managed to avoid all the tough teams, they have a good chance of getting to the QFs now. All the top teams want Copenhagen I guess, but Roma will do just fine for Man Utd, again.

Arsenal is so screwed. Schalke04 is the only side we have good odds to beat. Hopefully we get them, and then Shaktar (who beats FCK) in the next round

It's interesting how the groups turned out. Tottenham, Schalke and Shakhtar as group winners, with Internazionale, Lyon and Arsenal unseeded! I'd like revenge on Inter, and I think we can beat them now (if our form picks up). I think we'll get AC Milan, who are top of Serie A and are doing very well. Lyon would be dangerous, but I'm confident we can beat Roma. Not too sure about Valencia - I think we could beat them but obviously it would be tough. FC Copenhagen! I kind of hope we get them, and we should surely beat them over two legs Arsenal will get Schalke

Messi to rape Arsenal again and Tottenham with a tough match against AC Milan! Love it. A rematch of last season's final and Lyon-Real Madrid again!

You're one to talk - more like Dame N'doye to rape John Terry and company OM - United, I had a gut feeling it would happen and it did. Bring it on, cunts The press here will be sucking United's balls as usual, so it'll surely be on TV here (the match I'm on about incase Chris or Marius take my sentence out of context). If we can beat Chelsea with a half-screwed side, then we can definitely give United a run for their money (that is, if we have all of our guns - Diawara and M'bia included). Fanni will be able to participate in the CL as well, some much needed assurance on the right now

So winning a dead rubber means you can definitely win a Round of 16 tie?

Can you stop with this dead rubber non-sense, it's retarded Chelsea are, as you say, "dead rubber" because they've been shite lately so stop trying to make it seem as if this match in particular was dead rubber just because you lost, cunt. I'm sure the 3-0 bitch-smacking given to you by Sunderland was "dead rubber" too. I see the wounds are still open eh, werewolf:"Brandaaaaaooooooooooooooooooo" = Ahhhhooooooooooooooo in wolf call The serious win over your cunts in blue will help us - there's no where in my quote where I said we'll 'definitely win' - I said 'we can give United a run for their money', there's a difference idiot

The Champions League is back! OK, so where were we? These are how the groups ended: ![]() Group A 1. Tottenham - 11 points 2. Internazionale - 10 points ------------------------------ 3. FC Twente - 6 points 4. Werder Bremen - 5 points Group B 1. Schalke - 13 points 2. Lyon - 10 points --------------------------- 3. Benfica - 6 points 4. Hapoel Tel-Aviv - 5 points Group C 1. Manchester United - 14 points 2. Valencia - 11 points -------------------------------------- 3. Rangers - 6 points 4. Bursaspor - 1 point Group D 1. Barcelona - 14 points 2. FC Copenhagen - 10 points ----------------------------------- 3. Rubin Kazan - 6 points 4. Panathinaikos - 2 points Group E 1. Bayern Munich - 15 points 2. Roma - 10 points --------------------------------- 3. Basel - 6 points 4. Cluj - 4 points Group F 1. Chelsea - 15 points 2. Marseille - 12 points ----------------------------- 3. Spartak Moscow - 9 points 4. Zilina - 0 points Group G 1. Real Madrid - 16 points 2. AC Milan - 8 points ---------------------------- 3. Ajax - 7 points 4. Auxerre - 3 points Group H 1. Shakhtar Donetsk - 15 points 2. Arsenal - 12 points ------------------------------------ 3. Braga - 9 points 4. Partizan Belgrade - 0 points So who were the surprises of the group stage then? It was a great effort by Tottenham to finish first! They lost 4-3 to Inter Milan at the San Siro, but that second half comeback was incredible! A great home win too! Copenhagen finishing second behind Barcelona was a great achievement too I think. Shakhtar Donetsk did well to finish above Arsenal too! Anyway - we're now here: Round of 16 ![]() A reminder of the draw: Roma v Shakhtar Donestk AC Milan v Tottenham Valencia v Schalke Internazionale v Bayern Munich Lyon v Real Madrid Arsenal v Barcelona Marseille v Manchester United FC Copenhagen v Chelsea Thoughts? Copenhagen is the best draw we could have got (and it's cool for me personally ) but given our form, I'm not 100% sure we'll beat them (and no Marius, I wouldn't say that about EVERY team including Elverum, like you said )! Obviously we're favourites but I don't think the result is a foregone conclusion. Perhaps I'm too worried about our form. It's great that Torres can play, but Luiz can't...Manchester United v Marseille - I can only see United winning this one. I think they'll win comfortably at Old Trafford and perhaps it will be tighter in France. Arsenal v Barcelona! Haha, what a draw again! Barcelona should win this, but Arsenal are doing well this season! Great matchup , but I'll have to go with Barcelona...Lyon v Real Madrid again - can Madrid advance from this stage finally? I think this is their year to do it. Inter Milan v Bayern Munich - oooooh, what a matchup, a replay of last season's final! If you asked me for a prediction a few months ago then I would have said Bayern Munich easily as Inter were doing poorly with Benitez (despite winning the Club World Cup). They've improved now under Leonardo (despite losing at the weekend to Juventus). Bayern Munich on the other hand are third in the Bundesliga and are waaaay behind Borussia Dortmund. They lost 3-2 to Cologne last weekend after being 2-0 up I believe, but they beat Hoffenheim 4-0 this weekend. I'm not picking a winner! AC Milan v Tottenham should be cool! AC Milan are doing well in Italy at the moment while Spurs are in the top four now and did great in the group stage. Tottenham were great against Inter, but can they do it against Milan? I'll go for a Milan win, but I'm not so sure now Bale misses the first leg...Valencia-Schalke - Valencia are doing decently in Spain it seems, in third, but I'm sure Hugh can give more details about them! Schalke are struggling in 10th in Germany... I'll go for Valencia! Roma-Shakhtar - Roma aren't doing that well in Italy and Shakhtar did well in the group stage to finish ahead of Arsenal. Normally I'd predict Roma, but I'm not so sure now... So then, what do you think? Looking forward to it! The first leg times: AC Milan v Tottenham - 15th February (tomorrow) Valencia v Schalke - 15th February (tomorrow) Roma v Shakhtar - 16th February (Wednesday) Arsenal v Barcelona - 16th February (Wednesday) Copenhagen v Chelsea - 22nd February (next Tuesday) Lyon v Real Madrid - 22nd February (next Tuesday) Marseille v Manchester United - 23rd February (next Wednesday) Internazionale v Bayern Munich - 23rd February (next Wednesday) Remember to update your Fantasy Football teams too! |

Good to be back, it's been a while! I pretty much agree with most of Admins picks: Roma v Shakhtar Donestk - Worst tie of the round? Don't know, don't care who wins. I guess it will be Roma though. AC Milan v Tottenham - yeah, Milan. Having a good season, while Tottenham are a good side their fairytale should end here. Valencia v Schalke - Valencia are a good side, with some great attacking players, Mata, Soldado, Joaquin, Banega, Tino Costa. Schalke's not having a great year. Internazionale v Bayern Munich - Probably the tighest tie of the round. I would lean towards Inter on principle but I think Bayner could get revenge here. Lyon v Real Madrid - Madrid, finally. they'll get over their hoodoo, Adebayor has been a good signing for them too. Arsenal v Barcelona - Barcelona, the favourites for the title. Arsenal are good, it's a shame they came up against Barca here. Marseille v Manchester United - United are paying just like they should: confidently, (relataively) consistently and winning the league. FC Copenhagen v Chelsea - Nah, i'll go for Chelsea here. Sorry FCK.
