Third Qualifying Round second leg results

AA Gent 1-3 Dynamo Kiev (agg 1-6)
Basel 3-1 Debrecen (agg 5-1)
Celtic 2-1 Braga (agg 2-4)
Dinamo Zagreb 1-1 FC Sheriff Tiraspol (agg 2-2) (FC Sheriff win 6-5 on Penalties)
FC Copenhagen 3-2 BATE Borisov (agg 3-2)
Fenerbahce 0-1 Young Boys (agg 2-3)
HJK Helsinki 1-2 Partizan Belgrade (agg 1-5)
Lech Poznan 0-1 Sparta Prague (agg 0-2)
MSK Zilina 3-1 Litex Lovech (agg 4-2)
PAOK Salonika 3-3 Ajax (agg 4-4) (Ajax win on away goals rule)
Red Bull Salzburg 4-1 Omonia Nicosia (agg 5-2)
Rosenborg 3-0 AIK Solna (agg 4-0)
Zenit St Petersburg 1-0 Unirea Urziceni (agg 1-0)

Celtic out. 3-0 was too much to come back from so the chances of going through tonight were slim. At least there's a place in the Europa League now. Rosenborg won the Scandinavian derby! They dominated from what I saw - easy win

Nice to see new teams through to the final qualifying round, like MSK Zilina (Slovakia), Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) :eek2: and Young Boys (Switzerland). Fenerbahce and Dinamo Zagreb out :o

The draw for the play-off round is on Friday. These are the seedings:

Champions route
Seeded: Basel, Anderlecht, FC Copenhagen, Hapoel Tel-Aviv and Sparta Prague.
Unseeded: Rosenborg, Red Bull Salzburg, Partizan Belgrade, MSK Zilina and Sheriff Tiraspol.

Non-champions
Seeded: Sevilla, Werder Bremen, Zenit St Petersburg, Tottenham and Ajax.
Unseeded: Dynamo Kiev, Braga, Sampdoria, Auxerre and Young Boys.

Tough competition.

Play-off draw

Red Bull Salzburg v Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Rosenborg v FC Copenhagen
FC Basel v Sheriff
Sparta Prague v MSK Zilina
Partizan Belgrade v Anderlecht

Young Boys v Tottenham
Braga v Sevilla
Werder Bremen v Sampdoria
Zenit St Petersburg v Auxerre
Dynamo Kiev v Ajax

Rosenborg v FC Copenhagen in another Scandinavian battle, it had to happen  This will end the debates, Marius

I think Tottenham can make it into the group stage with that draw. Young Boys beat Fenerbahce but I think this is the end of the road for them. Tough draw for Auxerre...

Best draw for Spurs I think, could have been a lot worse (Sevilla or even Bremen)

Matchday! Can't say I'm not nervous before this incredible derby. First of all it's a very important game and then it's a big derby as well! I predict 1-1 tonight, but I hope we avoid away goals tonight. Come on, Troillan!

Rosenborg v FC Copenhagen :notworthy: FCK rule over Rosenborg in Fantasy Football but I'll go for Rosenborg here of course :P I'm predicting 2-1 Rosenborg at Lerkendal and 1-1 away. Sounds like an epic matchup, lykke til!

Excellent prediction Chris! Pity FCK snuck a goal near the end but Rosenborg should've done enough at this stage :)

Indeed I'm proud of that prediction B) Rosenborg seemed to dominate from what I saw. Orlund (Rosenborg goalkeeper) made a couple of great saves but Copenhagen got through in the end. Lerkendal looked packed too (unlike in the Cup against Start  ) B)

Spurs got raped by Young Boys :neulol: Spurs got two away goals though and they should win at home. Young Boys seemed to dominate totally though, apparently they had a number of chances when they were 3-1 up!

They were 3-0 up before half time. They could have just shut Spurs out... And they'd have been through.

Play-off round first leg results

Basel 1-0 FC Sheriff Tiraspol
Braga 1-0 Sevilla
Partizan Belgrade 2-2 Anderlecht
Red Bull Salzburg 2-3 Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Werder Bremen 3-1 Sampdoria

Dynamo Kiev 1-1 Ajax
Rosenborg 2-1 FC Copenhagen
Sparta Prague 0-2 MSK Zilina
Young Boys 3-2 Tottenham
Zenit St Petersburg 1-0 Auxerre

Spurs should win at home after grabbing two away goals in Switzerland. Sampdoria have a chance too at home. I'm still predicting 1-1 in Denmark, Marius, but I'm starting to think Copenhagen will steal it now

See Hapoel Tel-Aviv's penalty and Anderlecht's own goal! B)

Saw a bit of the Braga-Sevilla match. Braga played well and deserved the win, but I fancy Sevilla to take the tie at home.

Interesting stadium they have, with no stands at either end. just mountain.

Anyone watching the play-off second legs tonight? Watching Sampdoria-Werder Bremen at the moment. It was 3-1 Werder in the first leg but Sampdoria grabbed two goals inside 15 minutes to make it 3-3 on aggregate. It's half time now - great game at the moment though!

Anderlecht losing 0-1 to Partizan Belgrade while Braga are 2-0 up on aggregate over Sevilla now (leading 1-0 at half-time)!

Saw the first half of Braga-Sevilla. Braga are quite a decent team, they gave Sevilla nothing and managed to get a goal themselves. Tie seems over now so I'm on the PC.

I hope you went back to the TV, Hugh - 4-3 Braga! :eek2: Sevilla are out!

Sampdoria-Werder Bremen is great - Sampdoria made it 3-0 but Rosenberg scored in the final minutes to take it to extra-time! Great match!

Hapoel Tel-Aviv drew 1-1 with Red Bull Salzburg meaning the Israelis are through to the Group Stage. Basel beat Sheriff 3-0 to they're through. Anderlecht 2 Partizan Belgrade 2 - 4-4 on aggregate! Great matches tonight!

EDIT: Hugh :eek2:
