Fantasy Teams Cork City, Republic of Ireland Skype shefellover93	Well I don't know if any of you are aware of the official partnership between the Complex and my 6 a side team Shampdoria. We play in a mini league of 4 teams. All of which are men and very experienced. We however have been playing for the total amount of 4 games. I was missing the first two games because of being on holidays. Which we lost 13-2 to the Sextant and then 11-4 to Goldenboy Rovers. When I came back we lost to league leaders 'A-Team' 12-2. In a game that we got absolutely no luck at all and were 1-0 up for the first 10 minutes! Tonight we played the Sextant for the second time. Wasn't really expecting much, and after we went one up again I was hoping we wouldn't be blown away. We were 1-0 up till about 5 minutes before the end of the half when they scored. Half time came and we rallied ourselves around, we had a serious chance to get something from the game. We were under a lot of pressure but we snuck a goal about a quarter of an hour into the second half and then got a third straightaway. The calling started to go, and we conceded a stupid goal, a man at the back post completly unmarked. With about 5 to go our left full got completly out of position, striker was clear and made no mistake. 3 all. We rallied around and won a free kick on the edge of the arc. The referee told our star player Richard to wait for the whistle. He waited and before the ref blew he thumped the free kick off the wall, it rebounded to George Folley, our 6'5 striker and he toe poked it home. Had to make one more diving save before the final whistle went. UC Shampdoria 4-3 The Sextant Official Website

Having that 6 foot 5 lad would be handy though are the goals full size for 6 a side? He's great at holding up the ball. No the goals are small, about up to my waist and normal width (Which completly nullafies my height advantage but my wingspan does help) Goals are like these EDIT: The website is updated with a full match report Edited by shefellover93, Jul 1 2010, 09:46 PM.

Fantasy Teams Cork City, Republic of Ireland Skype shefellover93	Lost 7-5 tonight against Goldenboy Rovers. Bunch of overgrown scuts the lot of em. Lowered to the level of kicking and childish mocking of a team of kids. They were outclassed on and off the pitch, only a few poxie bounces and our lack of discipline won them the game. We'll hammer them the next game!
