Technically, he didn't do anything wrong. Nani handsed, the ref missed it, everyone thought it was a freekick. Robinson was about to take the freekick, waiting for the ref to blow. Nani understood, stole the ball and scored. Fair play? He KNEW he handsed, he KNEW Robinson thought it was a freekick. If he was a big player, he'd never scored. But hey - Maradona's 50th birthday, eh. |

Matchday 10![]() Nolan scored a hat-trick to help Newcastle beat rivals Sunderland 5-1 Results Arsenal 1 West Ham 0 Blackburn 1 Chelsea 2 Everton 1 Stoke 0 Fulham 2 Wigan 0 Manchester United 2 Tottenham 0 Wolves 2 Manchester City 1 Aston Villa 0 Birmingham 0 Bolton 0 Liverpool 1 Newcastle 5 Sunderland 1 Table Table Chelsea continue to top the table... Next Fixtures Monday Blackpool v West Brom, 20:00 Saturday Bolton v Tottenham, 12:45 Birmingham v West Ham, 15:00 Blackburn v Wigan, 15:00 Blackpool v Everton, 15:00 Fulham v Aston Villa, 15:00 Manchester United v Wolves, 15:00 Sunderland v Stoke, 15:00 Sunday Arsenal v Newcastle, 13:30 West Brom v Manchester City, 15:00 Liverpool v Chelsea, 16:00 Tuesday 9th November Stoke v Birmingham, 19:45 Tottenham v Sunderland, 20:00 Wednesday 10th November Aston Villa v Blackpool, 19:45 Chelsea v Fulham, 19:45 Newcastle v Blackburn, 19:45 West Ham v West Brom, 19:45 Wigan v Liverpool, 19:45 Everton v Bolton, 20:00 Manchester City v Manchester United, 20:00 Wolves v Arsenal, 20:00 ...and finally Lucky win for Chelsea I admit. Blackburn did well in the first half and had many chances (like through Mame Biram Diouf, Marius and Alle - weird seeing him in the Premier League ) but we showed why we're champions by grabbing two goals to win it. Ivanovic! United-Spurs will be remembered for another controversial goal, as we mentioned yesterday. Sunderland were so poor against Newcastle, as the scoreline suggests. The referee was a bit card happy though Hopefully Jake can come on here soon and give his view

Matchday 11: Part 1![]() Tottenham suffered a Champions League hangover with a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Bolton Results Birmingham 2 West Ham 2 Blackburn 2 Wigan 1 Blackpool 2 Everton 2 Bolton 4 Tottenham 2 Fulham 1 Aston Villa 1 Manchester United 2 Wolves 1 Sunderland 2 Stoke 0 Table Table Chelsea continue to top the table... Next Fixtures Sunday Arsenal v Newcastle, 13:30 West Brom v Manchester City, 15:00 Liverpool v Chelsea, 16:00 Tuesday 9th November Stoke v Birmingham, 19:45 Tottenham v Sunderland, 20:00 Wednesday 10th November Aston Villa v Blackpool, 19:45 Chelsea v Fulham, 19:45 Newcastle v Blackburn, 19:45 West Ham v West Brom, 19:45 Wigan v Liverpool, 19:45 Everton v Bolton, 20:00 Manchester City v Manchester United, 20:00 Wolves v Arsenal, 20:00 ...and finally Looking forward to Liverpool v Chelsea I think Liverpool will do well - they have new optimism with the money and owners situation now, and they're starting to win also. Liverpool-Chelsea matches are normally great and I think it will be the same again, but let's hope it turns out like last season's Anfield match I'm not going to predict it, but I won't be surprised if Liverpool win. |

Fair play to Liverpool, it was a good win for them. Torres' goals were great and we just couldn't get past the defence. Reina made a good save (but also spilled one late on) when we were chasing the game. We need Lampard and Essien back soon! At least Arsenal lost to Newcastle - the day isn't that bad now

Chelsea didn't look too threatening without Essien or Lampard and I was baffled to why Drogba was on the bench but our defence stuck together. Martin Kelly played really well and I'd start him over Glenny boy as he's more defencive than Johnson. I also got a few cheap laughs with this: Chelsea fans: Champions league? Ya havin' a laugh Me: You're winning the game? Ya havin' a laugh (at 2-0) |
