We knocked Blackpool off the top spot B)

6-0, what a great performance :notworthy: Drogba with a hat-trick and a great free kick B) That's a great way to start the season. It's only West Bromwich Albion but that will give us confidence, especially after our poor pre-season. Get in :point:

I mentioned him last season but after yesterday's performance I've got to mention him again. Joe Hart, Manchester City's new number 1 ahead of Shay Given it seems, pulled off some magnificent saves as Tottenham pushed and pushed for a goal while completely dominating play. Hart kept them in it and must be high on confidence now after that performance and for starting for England in mid-week against Hungary. England's new number 1 :neushades:

I'll go for a Blackpool player too after their great 4-0 win - Marlon Harewood. He's experienced and will have to play well and score a few if he's going to help Blackpool survive in the Premier League.

...and finally, the goal to remember!

The goal of the round must be Jones' free-kick for Wolves. He flicked it up and it flew straight into the net. Great goal, a must see.

That cunt tried to injure Koscielny, so it was well deserved.

Yep, you're doomed. TBF, the goal was good. Not completely his fault.

Given, Hart, or Lloris would be nice (although he's a doubt since Lyon want to keep him). Forget about Schwarzer, he's too old, he'd be more of a risk.

I can't see Hart being sold... Given looks good for you. Someone who can distil some confidence in your defense. Every set piece 'Pool got today, they expected Almunia to miss it.

I can't believe City dropped Given for Hart. It was a good choice though. Given would be a great buy for Arsenal, but it looks like it's gonna be Schwarzer. Not too old in my opinion, prime of his career Ligue :neuwine:
