A shame Blackpool let go of their 2-0 lead - the title race was becoming VERY interesting at that point. United have pulled ahead though, damn. I must say, coming back from 2-0 down away at difficult opponents is a sign of champions, so well played United.
Well said

A good win for us. From what I saw (when the stream wasn't annoying, it was really starting to annoy me :| ), our confidence in attack is starting to look good again! Great stuff. Torres to join the attack, can't wait! He'll make his debut against Liverpool too, and says it's "destiny" to score against them!

It's great that we got a win to keep up with the others, but it's a shame that they won too  Hopefully Manchester City slip up tomorrow...

Interesting to see that from a Sunderland fan! Capello doesn't seem to think so, he made his debut against France 'recently' I believe...

Basically, Playerbrooker is saying that gary Neville has retired, strange point in the season too. Thought he'd stay until end of campaign and win one more title unbeaten, not that he wasn't getting games i don't think.

Stoke will be a tough trip for us, they always are. Our away form this season looks brighter than other seasons though with 3 wins under our belt away from home, rather than the usual 0 wins . I'm going to go with a 2-1 win for Sunderland, Muntari to score on his debut.

Chelsea match however, i can see being tight. Both teams seem to be finding form at the moment, and Liverpool well in the race for the top 5 now it could be a good encounter, plus the reaction what the Liverpool fans give Torres. I'm going for a 2-2 all draw, with both Torres & Suarez getting on the scoresheet..Anelka & Merieles to get the others.

How's Ancelotti going to fit Torres, Anelka and Drogba into the same team, that's what I want to know. I pick a draw too.

Two tough away games for Man Utd and Arsenal as well...

Anelka's being linked with RBNY once again

Can't wait to see the match against Carroll-less Newcastle  Apparently, Pardew is looking to bring in Aliadiere since Ameobi's injured

:roneu: NYRB being linked with Anelka, but i guess if they have Henry. They have every chance as any other team to pull a Anelka deal off.

:neuwine: , Alle i find this strange seeing as though the other night on MSN, we were talking transfers and i think you cited that very same player to move to Sunderland to ease our strikeforce a bit. Looks like his coming to the North-East.....just not sunderland

I forgot about that :eek2:  Not a bad guess then :neutie:

As for Anelka, I doubt it's a serious thing, even if his brother stated a few months ago that he'd be interested in a move to the MLS. We have too many strikers now anyway, unless we plan on getting rid of one soon (maybe Salou or one of the youngsters). There's more focus on the defense at the moment.
