A reminder of the fixtures for this weekend: Saturday Manchester City v Chelsea, 12:45 Arsenal v West Brom, 15:00 Birmingham v Wigan, 15:00 Blackpool v Blackburn, 15:00 Fulham v Everton, 15:00 Liverpool v Sunderland, 15:00 West Ham v Tottenham, 15:00 Sunday Bolton v Manchester United, 12:00 Wolverhampton v Aston Villa, 14:05 Newcastle v Stoke, 16:10 Tough game for Chelsea. They did the double over us last season and are one of the challengers for our title, so this will obviously be big I'm thinking a draw actually.

The fun thing is, if you've got Hart and Cech in your fantasy team...who will be the big points gainer? -- Yeah, I'm in the Premier League Fantasy League. |

Matchday 6: Part 1![]() Arsenal suffered a surprise home defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion Results Manchester City 1 Chelsea 0 Arsenal 2 West Bromwich Albion 3 Birmingham 0 Wigan 0 Blackpool 1 Blackburn 2 Fulham 0 Everton 0 Liverpool 2 Sunderland 2 West Ham 1 Tottenham 0 Table Table Chelsea continue to top the table... Next Fixtures Sunday Bolton v Manchester United, 12:00 Wolverhampton v Aston Villa, 14:05 Newcastle v Stoke, 16:10 Fantasy Premier League Thread here Current table: 1. TC Admin 320 points 2. Chris Moore 300 3. PlayerBrooker 288 4. ZineZizou 283 5. Lee Vilenski 218 6. Nuno21 195 7. Rosenborg91 46 ...look out for... Odemwingie of West Brom. He's scored a few already for West Brom and helped them beat Arsenal today. West Brom will need him to be on form if they're going to stay up. They're doing well at the moment with him... ...and finally Disappointing defeat for Chelsea today. They did the double over us last season so it was always going to be tough, especially away without Lampard. City did well to stop us but they were quite rough - Boyata took out our players and Ivanovic seemed to be targeted often Our first defeat in the league this season - next we face Arsenal at home Marseille is next though, but more about that in the Champions League thread. We lost to a title rival away - Arsenal have no excuses losing at home to West Brom though

Matchday 7: Part 1![]() Van der Vaart, an £8m signing, scored two to help Spurs beat Aston Villa Results Birmingham 0 Everton 2 Stoke 1 Blackburn 0 Sunderland 0 Manchester United 0 Tottenham 2 Aston Villa 1 West Brom 1 Bolton 1 West Ham 1 Fulham 1 Wigan 2 Wolves 0 Table Table Chelsea continue to top the table... Next Fixtures Sunday Manchester City v Newcastle, 13:30 Liverpool v Blackpool, 15:00 Chelsea v Arsenal, 16:00 Fantasy Premier League Thread here You'll see tomorrow... ...look out for... He's a big player already but I might as well mention him: Van der Vaart. Signed for just £8m from Real Madrid, he's been an outstanding signing for Tottenham and has been amazing recently. ...and finally Chelsea v Arsenal Chelsea have had the upper hand over Arsenal in recent times but will that end? I think it's going to be a draw personally (but I normally think that in big games ). Looking forward to it, especially after we did the double over Arsenal last season

Oh dear Man Utd. Some serious flaws in the team right now, mostly in the midfield. No creativity and no confidence.\ - one really has to question the (lack) of signings when Tottenham can get VDV for 8 million, despite him saying he wanted to go to Man Utd. We need Rooney back and playing well, and Berbatov to be consistent. Owen and Hernandez are good for cameos only. Hoping for a draw between Chelsea-Arsenal, but I can see Chelsea winning easily like last season. |

I can't believe United didn't go for Van der Vaart or a similar kind of player. Oh well, their loss Chelsea 2 Arsenal 0! Arsenal did dominate for periods of the game and kept threatening to score, but once again they try and walk the ball into the net and it didn't work out. Drogba and Alex's goals were fantastic - Drogba with the flick and Alex with the sensational free-kick from distance Arsenal had alot of the ball but didn't do anything with it. Chelsea took their chances. Three points, happy days.
