England's four-match Test series against Pakistan starts tomorrow. Remember the last series when Pakistan forfeited after a ball-tampering row? It's the last series before the Ashes in Australia, so this will be good to see where we are before the big series  Something that has been making me think is whether to go with four or five bowlers. Here's the squad for the Pakistan series - pick a line-up  :Andrew Strauss (capt), Alastair Cook, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Eoin Morgan, Matt Prior (wkt), Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann, James Anderson, Steven Finn, Tim Bresnan. Personally I like this team: 1. Strauss (c) 2. Cook 3. Trott (or Bresnan for a five-man attack) 4. Pietersen 5. Collingwood 6. Morgan 7. Prior (wk) 8. Broad 9. Swann 10. Finn 11. Anderson Thoughts, Kev and Brooker etc? |

It was an easy victory over Pakistan in the end - England won by 354 runs after bowling Pakistan out for 80 in their second innings  Anderson 11-71 Mohammed Yousuf has been called up for Pakistan after he was suspended (and then he quit). They need him!

Jesus Christ Pakistan are awful! And the third day after lunch? Watching paint dry would've been more entertaining, sleep inducing stuff! Also Cook has to be dropped for the next two tests, see if he can rediscover his form and if not, he ain't going Down Under Great win though, going from strength to strength, if they can peak this winter the Ashes will return home again |

Awful indeed, they're playing like Bangladesh at the moment We shouldn't complain though, they're helping us win the series easily. Pakistan is normally better than this though, it's a shame they have players who have retired or have been suspended. They can't even play at home for various reasons, so Pakistani cricket is at a real low. I wish they were giving us more of a challenge so we can play against quality opposition before the Ashes. Who would you replace Cook with then? 2-0 England
