I know some of you guys have been to big games, but what is the best stadium you have been in terms of atmosphere as well?

For me, I would have to say Parkhead. Sitting there in the corner with thousands of Rangers fans with you and singing along against the Celtic fans, nothing comes in the way of that for me. Saying that, Rangers V Manchester United in Ibrox during the week, was brilliant in terms of the atmosphere. A full house getting behind the team and having a good banter with the Mancs was amense

Haven't been to any great stadiums (seeing games) to be honest. The biggest attendance of a match I've been to is Aalesund-Molde or something, cupfinal in 2009. 25.500 spectators that was.

Of-course, seeing national games vs Argentina and Brazil and Champions League at Lerkendal gave great atmospheres, but I have not seen a match with more than 25.000 people. Should travel abroad and see I guess :neulol:

Been to Wembley, though, but we were 30 people on a tour. Wasn't much of an atmosphere :|

Well I've been to lots of great stadiums, but not as many for actual games. In terms of atmosphere three matches stand out:

Hertha Berlin v Galatasaray, UEFA Cup 2008, Olympiastadion
Well obviously it's one of the world's great stadiums, and it wasn't even full for this match (almost), but the raw atmosphere of the match was immense. Literally the stadium was divided 50/50 between Hertha and Gala fans, Germans v Turks, each chanting immensely and responding with boos to each others' chants. Flares and everything. The game was not amazing, with Galatasaray winning 1-0. All that was missing was a home goal, I can't imagine what would have happened. I will never forget this atmosphere though.

Man Utd v Derby County, League Cup 2009, Old Trafford
No-one can really describe the atmosphere within Old Trafford without having been to a game. The fans are absolutely passionate, signing in various factions from minute 1 to 90. The stadium is always packed and the players (Tevez, Nani, Ronaldo on that day) respond equally. The match was great, 4-2 to Man Utd, and the fans really enjoy each goal and every moment.

Australia v Uruguay, 2006 World Cup Qualifier, Stadium Australia
This was absolutely the greatest night of football Australia will ever experience and I was privileged to be there. Australia got qualification for the World Cup for the first time in 32 years in a penalty shootout. I will never forget the anthems, the Uruguayan one drowned out by boos and the Australian sung at full voice by 83,000. Every second of the match the fans screamed till death for Australia and it was extremely tense. The crowd could barely cheer any louder after 120 minutes, until we hit that penalty to take us to Germany...

Old Trafford in a CL match between Man United and AC Milan around 2005.

City of Manchester Stadium to watch Man City v Fulham around 2006. Premier League.

Goodison Park to watch England U21s v Portugal U21. Around 2003.

I really need to watch more matches. Perhaps when I leave Uni. :|

I've only been to two stadiums, Hull and Liverpool and you know I'm gonna choose Liverpool.
