![]() More good news for Vålerenga, as they have signed the Ghanese striker Isaac Boakye (since Yssouf Kone is injured)! He is 30 years old, and he has spent eight years in Germany, and five of them in Bundesligaen. Had a contract going out so he goes to Enga for free. Sounds...great Could be decent though, for what I know. |

Halt time between Fredrikstad and Viking, and the scoreline is 0-0 yet. Will this be the first draw of the league, will Fredrikstad win again or will Viking score their first goal of the season and win? |

Two games gone from matchday 2, Viking have beaten Fredrikstad 1-0! Tomasz Sokolowski's 79th minute strike became the matchwinning goal for the Vikings, who sent FFK down to earth after the nice opener in Ålesund. The goal was a stunner as well, a must see! Didn't see the match myself, but I saw some highlights and FFK were pretty good after all. Viking were just effective. ![]() |

Marius's corner: Not very neutral ![]() Just ginger 10 games of the league has been kicked off, ghosts are haunting Tippeligaen and Vålerenga have won the league - in front of Brann. The spring is here, ladies and gentlemen! Like I said, ten games are already been played, but I haven't seen any live yet. I've been counting weeks and days since I cheered the whistle of Rosenborg-Aalesund in November. The sound of a whistle and a few thousands singing "unbeaten" was warming in the cold, snowy Norwegian winter. ![]() Cold: The 30th round of Tippeligaen 2010 was quite snowy... It's been 147 days. Luckly, there will be a lot of preasure to look forward to in the next month to come, just look at this sweeet list: Tommorrow - Rosenborg-Stabæk First homegame, between two sides who hit a road bomb in the previous match. I'll be here partly to write a case for my schoolwork actually, to describe the atmosphere. Therefore, I'll bring my camera to the match. Should be able to post some pics to you then! Next week - Rosenborg - Lillestrøm And this is pretty exciting. It's not only a derby, and a new edition of the match Chris and I went to in 2009. This will kind of be my debut as a sport journalist at Lerkendal! At Friday, we'll get a visitor from England to our school - from SOUTHAMPTON! He is a sport journalist, so he will lecture us a few stuff! We will have to write one case before the match, and three short ones after it. Because of him being foreign, we obviously have to do it in English. Will be posting them here then. We will get to see the match FOR FREE from the press stand. Class! 18th of April - Fredrikstad-Rosenborg Oh oh oh - awaygaaame, to a place I've never been! The place where it apparently are ghosts, eh... Anyway, I'll be home for the easter, and Elverum is just like three hours away from Fredrikstad so I'm trying to make people join me into this! It's pity that many seems to be working in the easter, but I'll go anyway! Apparently, the first train after the match leaves at 5:40 AM, though! Could be a fresh night down there ![]() 25th of April - Rosenborg-Vålerenga !! Get in! This match is very important for us as Vålerenga have showed that they are potential title contestors - or should we say definite title contestors? I've already booked my ticket home to Trondheim one day earlier than needed so I could see this 1st of May - First round of the cup Not official who we'll play, but we usually play local sides. Should meet a minnow close to Trondheim! 6th of May - Molde-Rosenborg Do I need to say more? SHOULD BE EPIC! 16th of May - Rosenborg-Haugesund One day before the national day in Norway, it's always a full round in the league. It's the day before the big day, Norway's national day of football. Haugesund is not the best side, but this is always huge. Bring it on! Well, well, well, let's see tommorrow then, if we can kick some Stabæk arses. No ghots will scare the fans away, but maybe the winter could?

Also, the Norwegian Adeccoligaen begins tomorrow. The first match this season will be a ROGALAND DERBY between Sandnes Ulf and Bryne, LIVE BROADCASTED. I excpect a kind of boring game. Neither Sandes nor Bryne are familiar to play entertaining football. Predictions for this match: Sandnes 1-1 Bryne |

Would I ever try to fool you? Can't wait for tommorrow now! It's been so long since the last homegame now, but I might not turn my expectations too much up, should I First homegame, the climate is still cold etc. I predict 2-1 to Rosenborg. We haven't kept the zero for many games now, maybe this is the day

Dear diary![]() Am I not cute? WTF! I will change that bit to a more masculine name later....the pic also. It's pretty cool, though, with the hearts. There is no limits what you can do with paint eh!? Well, I made this "diary" or what you call it, because I want to make you feel closer (not closer to me gaylords, closer to Norway). Make you closer to the action. First homegame of the season is tonight, and it's important since we lost the opener. Tonight will be stressed. Stressed, but good - hopefully. A dude from my class, Jan Christer, will join me (don't think gay here, come on) at Lerkendal to write a reportage. He has never seen Rosenborg before, since he basically don't care about Norwegian football. Maybe it's because he is from Sandefjord, who knows. But he is a good guy after all. Even though he supports Liverpool too. Meh. He will do a reportage about football fans in general, I will cover Kjernen. Write about the atmosphere, take pictures etc. SLR cameras are not allowed at Lerkendal unless you were this photo shirt, so we need to register at RBK's clubhouse before the game - just like other journalists and photographs. Cool! Hopefully, it won't be a problem that this is just a school case. The game will be finished at 10pm, we need to be there 4. Six hours. Don't expect the results to be up quickly tommorrow night! ![]() Stabæk is our opponent tommorrow then. Trondheim will be invaded by preppies and puppies with rich fathers. Stabæk $upport is here. Vegar Hedenstad as well, the player from my little town of Elverum. Right now, I regret not kicking him down went he went to my college in 2007, before he went to Stabæk. Rosenborg wanted to buy him as soon as in 2006, but Stabæk had a much better offer - and it was closer his hometown. Maybe we'll regret the poor bid tonight. This team has caused trouble for us a lot of times, both home and away. They eliminated us from the cup in 1996, and beat us in the final two years later. At their old stadium Nadderud, we didn't win from 2001 to 2008, and even at Lerkendal they have been hard to beat. In 2001, we could celebrate the title one round from the end - if we beat them at home. Don't you think the muppets beat us 1-0. Two years later, when we already were champions, they beat us 6-1 here. 6-1! It was 0-3 after 12 minutes, which was a huge shock for a team that had suffered with one defeat in the previous 25 games! As if that's not enough, they almost gave away the title to their rivals Vålerenga in 2004. In spite of that being their relegation season, they managed to win 2-1 in Trondheim, which made Vålerenga close the gap to Rosenborg with two rounds left to play... On the other hand, we have stoped them in the later seasons. Although, they won both games in their title season back in 2008, but now we have won four in a row. 2x 2-1 at their place and 1-0/2-0 at Lerkendal. Prica was last season's hero with two goals. Personally, I'll be watching these sides for the sixth time. Did you know that Stabæk were the first side I ever saw play Rosenborg? A late autumn night in October 2002. We had Molde one point behind us before the game, but we left the gap at four points by the end of the day. Trond Fredrik Ludvigsen and Dagfinn Enerly scored our goals in a 2-1 win. It took me five years to see the teams again, in 2007, when I saw both of the games. We hadn't lost in 14 games when a mate of mine and I travelled to Nadderud in April 2007. Stabæk was going to stop that. We did take the lead, but Veigar Pall Gunnarson scored twice to award the hometeam three points... The revenge came in the same summer, though, when we trashed them 3-0 at home. "Dangerous deathballs" Remember, Chris? ![]() One year later, Stabæk were once again going to turn a match to a win. 2008, their great title season. We were five points behind, and needed to win to close the gap. Looked good when Tettey scored from a long distance, but the blues scored twice in the second half again. A stunning volley from Alanzinho, like 20 meters out. And then Gunnarson - again. Didn't cath any of the Stabæk games in 2010, but in September 2010 I saw us beating them 2-1 in Telenor Arena. Saparaaaa and Demi scored for us then. I can still remember the sight of Sapara's nice shot from far out. There have been some good goals in these games, as you might understand. In the five games I've seen them, we lead in a total score of 9-6. Hopefully it will be more after today's game. EDIT: Oh Gooood, I just saw Rosenborg's post on facebook. They have posted a picture of the ground RIGHT NOW! Looks amazing! Can't wait now!

Matchday preview Haugesund - Sarpsborg08 Two teams I've predicted to fight for relegation (16th and 14th). Sarpsborg proved qualities last round by beating Molde 3-0 at home, while Haugesund lost in Tromsø, as expected. Today, on the other hand, we expect more from Haugesund. Anything but a homewin here will back up my prediction to be honest. They only lost once at home in 2010, so they better take this. Can Sarpsborg take points against and make a flying start? Molde-Tromsø Both sides should be fighting in the upper half of the table, even though today's homeside lost 3-0 in Sarpsborg last time. It wasn't that bad from Molde actually, better than the result says. Surely, they must feel the pressure now, to convince their fans they are all right under Solskjær's charge. At home against a rival for the top three spots too. I wonder how they will play at home. I'm sure there will be quite many people coming to this match, so it will be interesting to see the player's reaction to the expectations. Will they take the support, go on the field and attack Tromsø, or will the expectations be too thrilled? Sogndal-Odd Grenland Sogndal's first homegame in the top league since October 2004. And what do you know - their last homegame in the relegation season was a 4-2 win against.. Odd Grenland! It has been a long wait, but now they're back. The question is if they can beat this side. Both teams suffered with defeats in the first round, against decent sides. Sogndal lost away to Strømsgodset, which many others will do too. Odd lost at home - against a decent Start side. I'll give the favourite marks to the away side here, but the home advantage could play a role... A draw? Start-Strømsgodset The opponent side of Sogndal-Odd this, where the winners are in action. Open match to be honest, I can smell some goals here! I believe - and hope - Start will get a flying start with two wins. Start will by the way make a tribute to Svein Mathisen, the legend with a record amount of games for Start, who died in February. His son, Jesper Mathisen, will be in the line-up for tommorrow, so this must surely be a special match for him. The first homegame with no father in the crowd. ![]() In the end of this preview, I'll show you a player profile. Today, I'll give a profile about Molde's Magnus Wolf Eikrem, who is back in Molde after four years playing for Manchester United reserves. The 20 year old is considered as one of Norway's five biggest talents, maybe even the best. He will make his debut at home today, against Tromsø. Should be cool! Speaking of fathers, by the way, his father has played over 200 games for Molde! What's up with this father-son stuff in Tippeligaen eh? This video follows him a day in Molde, with breakfast at Aker stadion, trainings, driving back and forth in Molde and then media lesson (they learn how to speak to media etc). There is a few interviews, with Magne Hoset, Solskjær and his father, in Norwegian, but you don't have to understand it to enjoy it! Chris saw it and he liked what he saw But of-course, if you have any questions, just ask ![]() His nose looks weird in profile. As always, you might follow the round on livescore or VG Live. Enjoy! |
