Nice table! Start beat Viking 4-0! Nice result! Maybe this is the season Start play well in alot of matches and not just in 50% of them! |

Thanks! Yes, indeed, Start have impressed so far - scoring nine at home! Hard slap in the face for Viking...Today's games are: Main game between Vålerenga and Lillestrøm at Ullevaal - what a passion, what a derby! Before that, bottom placed Sogndal will try to take their first points of the season when they takes on the unbeaten Tromsø at home. Godset have won two at home so far - tonight Sarpsborg will try to challenge them. Odd are favourites to beat Aalesund at home in Skien, while Molde and Stabæk meets up in Molde. Can Solskjær win his first, or will Stabæk continue their great form after beating both Rosenborg and Vålerenga the last rounds? Who can ever forget: Vålerenga to win tonight, though. |

2.divisjon: Elverum drew with Raufoss! Recently promoted Elverum have taken their 4th point after drewing 1-1 with title favourites Raufoss at home - but it should have been three. ![]() I got to see the match from the speaker / media - stand I think the stadium is beautifully located by the river in the background - don't you think? 60 minutes were played. A long ball was catched by Raufoss' keeper into the box, and was going to start a counter-attack quickly. He tried to threw out, but his arm hit an Elverum player, and he had to run out and tackle. Tackle from behind - outside the box. Red card. The freekick only just hit the bar as well! Both teams had already managed to score before that. A boring first half, where the only action was long balls and a penalty situation where Elverum might have lost a penalty. The second half started better, and Raufoss got the lead after 50 minutes. A low corner was sent out to a midfielder who stood 20 meters out - he sent a rocket - Elverum never got to clear it and the visitors scored. So uneccesary! However, we got the strike back just five minutes later - Øystein Stai ran quickly from the defender, lobed over the keeper and gave amazing scenes to Elverum. Fantastic! Should have won this, their 2nd keeper was not safe, and we missed unbelievable chances at corners. Well well, still a good start - and still on top! Hahaha, Raufoss's local radio was next to us too. Radio commentators are so annoying 'cos they have to speak all the time! God damn! ![]() I loved the atmosphere, though, I got a video of the freekick in the bar too - will upload that! Here it is, the freekick! Might hear my voice in the background - and the speaker in Elverum, hahaha! Enthusiastic! |

Quick update before Vålerenga takes on Lillestrøm: MOLDE have beaten STABÆK 3-2 in spite of two goals from Stabæk's Veigar Pall Gunnarson. Apparently, it was a good game from the Senegalese trio! Congratulations, Ole Gunnar Solskjær! His first win! STRØMSGODSET trashed SARPSBORG08 5-2, in a match where the homeside totally dominated. 3-0 up at halftime, before two quick goals put the visitors back in the game. However, the win was never threated. AALESUND were both 1-0 and 2-1 up against ODD GRENLAND, but Frode Johnsen saved the day for the homeside - 2-2 in Skien. SOGNDAL and TROMSØ drew 0-0 in the first goalless tie of the season. Tromsø stays unbeaten, but drops from the top. Sogndal grabs their first point. Start on top then! Table to come after Lillestrøm have trashed Vålerenga

Sorry just catching up here. Molde looks really beautiful, as do Tromso and Alesund. I reckon you can make anything look nice by night but Oslo look cool, so I look forward to going there. ![]() Nice reports about the smaller teams too. Great kit from Follo! Edited by hugh, Apr 17 2011, 08:24 PM.

The main piece of matchday 4 is over, Start have overtaken the lead, Lillestrøm continues to do well away from home and Molde have won their first.![]() Finally for Molde! Vålerenga - Lillestrøm 1-1 0-1, E.Knudtzon '53 1-1, I.Boakye '81 Knudtzon scored his first ever for Lillestrøm last weekend against Rosenborg - continues it, eh! Boakye to save a point for Vålerenga in the clash against Lillestrøm. Nobody gomes home as losers. Molde - Stabæk 3-2 1-0, D.Angan '32 2-0, P.Diouf '45 2-1, V.Gunnarson '70 3-1, M.Thioune '71 3-2, V.Gunnarson '75 Two Senegalese goalscorers and one Ivornian was the recipe when Solskjær won his first for Molde against Stabæk! However, Solskjær is not happy saying this was the worst match so far! In spite of scoring three, he says that the attacking didn't work and that they should have a player Gunnarson. Well well, didn't see the match, but they did score three, Ole! Strømsgodset - Sarpsborg08 5-2 1-0, A.Aas '25 2-0, A.Aas '29 3-0, A.Konradsen '39 3-1, Ø.Hoås '53 3-2, J.Matland '56 4-2, O.Kamara '76 5-2, O.Kamara '86 Two deadballs - two goals for the central defender Alexander Aas, which killed the match for Sarpsborg. Especially when Konradsen made it 3 as well. Sarpsborg didn't create a chance in the first half, but scored two before 11 minutes were played of the second half. However, this was all Godset's night and Kamara scored one, before he missed a penalty and scored the return. 5-2, and Godset have won three out of three at home! Odd Grenland - Aalesund 2-2 0-1, D.Phillips '25 1-1, F.Johnsen '58 1-2, P.Larsen '81 2-2, F.Johnsen '87 He is 37 years old, but Frode Johnsen is still a hero in Skien, scoring twice tonight! But this was a match to win, Odd Grenland. Tsk tsk. Sogndal - Tromsø 0-0 No goals, no Sogndal wins so far and no Tromsø defeats. The best way to sum up this match, was that nothing happened. Played Friday: Haugesund - Brann 3-3 0-1, E.Mjelde '1 1-1, T.Sørum '8 2-1, T.Sørum '9 3-1, E.Mæland '26 3-2, K.Ojo (p) '35 3-3, D.Guastavino '38 Like I've mentioned before, Haugesund and Brann drew 3-3 Friday night, after the fastest ever goal in Tippeligaen from Erik Mjelde, and six goals in the first half! Haugesund simply won't lose at home! Played Saturday: Start - Viking 4-0 1-0, E.Hoff '3 2-0, O.Årst '33 3-0, O.Årst '39 4-0, C.Kleiven '78 Start really had the luck on their side: First, their 1-0 goal should have been ruled out for an offside, then Viking might have got a penalty taken away, as one of Start's players handsed inside the box. After going 2-0 up, after a great goal by 37 year old Ole Martin Årst, the veteran scored another a few minutes later - a really weird goal you have to see. Keeper Jarstein is about to clear a ball, but it hits Årst's HAND (should have been hands), then the ball flies straight up in the air, and Årst only just manages to catch it before it's over the line, while Jarstein lays down! Hahaha! Classed 4-0 strike from Kleiven too, these goals are must see! All the goals are worth a look, but especially the third! One of the weirdest goal you'll ever see! 2:00 into the vid, see the replay as well! Hahahaha! So unlucky, Viking! ![]() Table so far. Start have overtaken the lead. No-one scores more than Lillestrøm, but they are only 10th! Weird to see Viking and Rosenborg so far down, I expect us to raise up in Fredrikstad tommorrow! FFK, who by the way got over Sarpsborg on the table after S08's big defeat tonight! |

Hahahaha what a goal for Start for 3-0! Surely the referee could see that it hit the player on the arm? Epic bounce of the ball to keep it in play! |

Norwegian football, everyone!

I think the stadium is beautifully located by the river in the background - don't you think?
