I wish the ball bounced our way in Elverum too!

Hahahhaa, I see Snorre's Bodø/Glimt lost 3-0 to Sandnes-Ulf in Adecco  Got their keeper sent off too, hahaha. What a team.

Going to Fredrikstad-Rosenborg tommorrow then! My last match was total different, as I was working from the press stand, with all the free food etc, I hope you read about it cos it was an epic night! And an epic game too!

Here is a direct link to the post!

Here is the only picture I got - my good wrap and the good view. Ignore all the cokes - they were not all mine!
Posted Image

and even better: I got a vid of Fredrik Winsnes' freekick that hit the post! I totally forgot I had, so I've only just oploaded it. And you TC2-ers are exclusive as I've made the vid private - just for you :neushades:

:neushades:
This is at 2-3, before we made it 3-3, so the thrill was high! I didn't know if I was allowed to film, so I kinda hit it a little as you can see. You've got to see all the 29 seconds, cos the freekick was taken at like 25 - great reactions afterwards! :P

The quality is not too good, better buy a better mobile soon! But you can feel the atmosphere anyway :neushades:

Just ginger

Going to Fredrikstad, then!

Gonna be just the two of us, as lack of money (come on, I have lack of money too), jobs and tight time schedules stops others from coming. Should be epic anyway, as this is my first time in the city of planks - in spite of it being only four hours south for Elverum.

Cathy has been here once (seeing the legendary 5-1 defeat at their old stadium), and she says the atmosphere here is better than anywhere else in Norway. Well, she was there in summertime, I guess the mood isn't properly there yet in April. A monday match-up as well, the FA has probably managed to stop many dangerous away fans from coming :) :)

This is a very important match for us, as we haven't won yet. We have to win this, but I have a bad feeling. We lost here in 2005 and 2007, drew in 2006 and 2008. Won here two years ago, 4-1 in 2009, the season they relegated. Prica scored two for us, and he scored four last week as well. I see VG has highlighted him before the match. Jinxed much?

I suppose FFK wants to give their homefans a good day too, after their 0-1 defeat in matchday 2.

Poor Jönsson if we lose this. I'm afraid time will be running out if we don't win soon. And if we fail today, just look at our next fixtures:
Vålerenga (H)
Molde (A)

:neuthink:

Aight, see you tommorrow, lads! Fredrikstad calling! :neuguitar:

You can hardly see anything in that video, but I love how the camera is hidden behind the coke

I think Rosenborg will beat Fredrikstad. It might be tight, but I sense a win. They have to win at some point! Or they'll lose and then they'll beat Valerenga, which would be a cool way to start the season for real!

That's his first goal surely?! :neuwine: :notworthy: RBK-Enga next, I can hear Klanen singing from a mile away: "Champions going to the 2nd div" :neuclap:

They're a team in transition after letting go of quite a few players, so I guess it's expected that they don't do as well this season. I didn't expect them to do this badly though!

Back home from a nice trip, with a new horrible result. Great to see live match discussions here at TC2! Should be so next week too, when we're pissing on Enga, eh.

I'll upload pics and sum up the round tommorrow.

Trip was good anyway, sun from the minute I walked out of my house in Elverum, till we entered Oslo, and all the way to Fredrikstad. Atmosphere around the match was great, a shame we had to make a protest tonight. All the Tippeligaen teams are doing a boycot of Monday games, which means that we simply don't sing at all the first 15 minutes and then makes a crap atmosphere in the rest of it - just to show the FA how much fans means to football.

Seeing a drugtaker die when we came back to Oslo put things a little bit in perspective. Suddenly football is not so important, eh.

But 0-1-3 after 4 games - come on!

What the hell, where did you see that (don't say Oslo)?

No wins - wouldn't it be a great story if Rosenborg won the league from this position? ;)

Round 4 summary:

Rosenborg crisis
Posted Image
Last season's undefeated side has lost three out of four. Photo: Fredrikstad Blad

What's happening with Rosenborg? Who is to blame? Only Stabæk has let in more goals than RBK so far (because of the 0-7), and only Sogndal are behind us on the table now. Everyone are talking about 1977 - the last where we relegated.

Sports director Erik Hoftun gets blamed for not doing better in the last transfer window. We knew Annan/Stadsgaard/Iversen/Demidov would leave, should have done better. Jönsson is under pressure as well, is he a hot candidat to be the first sacked manager in 2011?

Twitter quotes:

"To wake up to a smell of summer and the thought of FFK beating Rosenborg felt like orgasm" - Rahand Bazaz

"In 1991, RBK won 4-0 over Lyn in round 7. Before that, they had two draws and four defeats. They ended second. Relax!" - TV2's Davy Wathne

Fredrikstad on the other hand - what a place and what a team! I loved the atmosphere in their town and their fans are great! An early outsider for medals? A very fine goal from Tarik Elyounoussi too, strikes in from 20 meters out, via the post.

Molde won their first of the round as well, after beating Stabæk 3-2.

Historical touch in the West Norwegian derby as well, where Erik Mjelde scored the quickest ever goal in the Tippeligaen history! Only just beating Tommy Øren's old record from Ham-Kam - Tromsø in 2006.

Match of the round:

Most of the highlights aren't up yet, so I'm posting the vid of league leader Start's great 4-0 win against Viking. Posted it earlier, but if you haven't seen it, see it! So many great goals and one very weird one!

Next round:
Posted Image
It was all joy for RBK the last time Vålerenga visited Lerkendal. The pressure is bigger a head of this derby... Photo: rbk.no

All games will be played at Monday, 25th of April, with 6 games being played at 6, one at 4 and one at 8.

16:00
Lillestrøm - Haugesund

18:00
Brann - Molde
Sarpsborg08 - Start
Stabæk - Fredrikstad
Tromsø - Odd Grenland
Viking - Strømsgodset
Aalesund - Sogndal

20:00
Rosenborg - Vålerenga

Lillestrøm takes on Haugesund at Åråsen, where the homeside lost 1-4 to Brann in matchday 2. LSK have impressed and are big favourites to beat a Haugesund side who has lost both of their awaygames so far.

Brann to play Molde, in a quite interesting game. Molde won their first game last weekend, in spite of Solskjær describing it as the worst performance so far. I think they will beat Brann, who's been much up and down so far.

Start have usually been up and down too, but this season has mainly gone up. Their next opponent, Sarpsborg08, have won both of their games at home. Start to break that?

Stabæk - Fredrikstad. Great start for Fredrikstad, having won three out of four! Really detonated Rosenborg last week, which Stabæk did a few weeks back too. A draw in Telenor?

Tromsø will defend a great homestatistic at home to a poor Odd team who has done bad so far. Clear homefavourites, but we all know that Odd has potential.

Viking have to beat Godset at home now, if they want 2011 to be a great season. The homeside have done it poor so far.

Sogndal have not won yet - first victory to come away in Ålesund?

If so, they will put Rosenborg last before their match at home to Vålerenga. The match we won 3-1 last year, which basically made us celebrate the title. The reality is totally different so far. Will Rosenborg do like Jesus - woke up in the easter?

Fredrikstad - a great place!
Posted Image

It was a bad match and a day filled with horror memories, but at least I got to visit one of the best football cities in Norway - Fredrikstad!

Eversince I realaised that Fredrikstad-Rosenborg was going to be played during the holidays, I was keen to go here and make some Rosenborg friends join in. However, they all had to work and one had a lack of money. Luckely I made this friend of me go - who's not even into football!

"Hey. Join me to Fredrikstad."
"When"

Epic! He is so little into football, that when we arrived in Oslo, after two hours of the trip - he asked: "Soo... which team are we going to support?" But he was really up for it, and he sang loud, when Kjernen decided to do a few breaks from the boycott!

Yeah, there was this boycott. Like Brann fans did in Lillestrøm two weeks ago, Fredrikstad in Ålesund a month ago etc. Neither the homefans nor the awayfans are supposed to sing during the first 10 minutes of the match. This protest is called "Fotball skal spilles i helgen!", or translated to "Football for the weekend!". The visitors usually makes this protest through all the 90 minutes - so did we. We only just sang sometimes, when we really felt we needed the support. This protest is only for the Monday games, but fans still brings banners with "Football for weekend" other places too. I'm looking forward to the next time we go here - hopefully I don't have to respect a protest thing then! I agree to this, so I had to no problems being quiet, but I'd love to be in the right mood in Fredrikstad. Was a great place!

After we ate at McDonalds, to make someone at TC2 jelaous, we aimed for Fredrikstad. An hour in a bus, through farms and woods down the south east of Norway. Have to admit the view wasn't good, but when we came to Fredrikstad it was all right! It didn't look so big around the stadium, but apparently it's a bit off the centre of the city. Fredrikstad stadion lays by the river, beautifully located! Two bridges, covered with lots of Fredrikstad flags, and everyone in the town seemed to have the flag hanging outside their window for the match! Sunny weather as well, everything was just great! Everyone was dressed in white and red and they drank beer and were so kind! Asked a guy where the train station was, and we even followed us there! He said that we'd be 3-0 down anyway, so we could easly walk from the stadium after 70 minutes. The bastard was almost right too!

The stadium itself is built at the top of a building actually, so you can stand under the pitch! Have got to go stairs up to the lower roads of the stadium! Weird! The hot dogs were not too expensive and also good. A shame they didn't take credit cards there, though, tsk tsk. Inside the stadium didn't look so good - basically just a fair stadium.

And the fans - wow. Not only the hardcore fans of Fredrikstad sang, but the hole stadium did! And everyone had scarfs that they lifted when the anthem was on too - great! Fredrikstad is a proper football town!

After the kick-off it was boring for a while, as no-one sang and just sat there, making the protest. At 9:57, though, the homefans started to count down, and at 10:00, the atmosphere changed from a funeral to a fest! When Fredrikstad scored their goals too - lifted the stadium a few extra meters.

But apparently, there are glory hunters here too - when they relegated in 2009, many seemed to turn their back to the team. A shame there excist this kind of people.

Met two (well, three, but only knew two of them from before) girls after the match too - from Fredrikstad. Frida (you know her, Chris) and Heidi, knows them because they study in Trondheim. Frida was actually the leader of my "get to know each other group" in August, and a friend of Cathy on beforehand! Was going to meet them before the match, but we only had the time after it. In spite of Frida being a big Rosenborg fan when she is in Trondheim, she wore a Fredrikstad jersey when we met them afterwards. When they saw us, they cheered and pointed. Pft.

Even though I was angry after the game, I had to smile when they danced to the car and sang FFK songs. They gave us a round-trip in the Fredrikstad area for hours too, (and played Fredrikstad songs from the radio loud...) hahaha. The city was great, though, have to admit that. Should really go back there sometime! Some day I'll go back and pick up the points we left...

Pics is a must!

All pics taken with my mobil-e, though.
