Overtime now! Ujah has scored AGAIN as well - his sixth of the season gives LSK 2-0 after a new assist from Karim Essediri ;)

EDIT: Full time in Bodø. Decent point for Kamma, but still no wins!

EDIT 2: 3-0 LILLESTRØM, ANTHONY UJAH! 7 GOALS!!

Nosa added two as well. 5-0 for Lillestrøm, their second win of the season. 7-0, 5-0 plus two draws at Lerkendal and Ullevaal. A really nice start!

LSK up for medals? Rest of the games to begin now.

Haha, I knew they'd win! The season starts now for Rosenborg!

Brann lost 3-1 at home to Molde, Sarpsborg beat Start 2-0 and Viking lost 1-0 at home to Godset :o

Sarpsborg won again, indeed! But what a match from Rosenborg - absolute class! Scored after 80 seconds, then Hæstad made a horrible pass back (like he did for Wigan a few years back), to free Prica for 2-0. Great!

Hopefully, we'll continue to win and not just fall down again

Before I post the summary of round 5, I will have to post the highlights of the scandal match Fredrikstad - Rosenborg and the derby between Vålerenga and Lillestrøm from round 4:

40 games are played, 1/6 of the season is gone. Here is the review of the fifth round of Tippeligaen 2011.

Round 5 summary:

Strømsgodset flies - Viking have crashed
Posted Image
Poor results, empty seats and a pressured manager. Welcome to Stavanger. Photo: Tommy Ellingsen, aftenbladet.no

It doesn't look good at all for the Vikings, and 2011 seems to be another blindgate for the blues from Norway's 4th most populated town. Viking haven't won anything since 2001 (cup), and not won the league since 1991. They are a team that is supposed to be one of the great 4, but they haven't finished top 5 in the previous three seasons either. Disgusting numbers for Viking. That makes the fans turn their back too. Only 10.000 saw the match against Strømsgodset, but there were far more. I guess they counted in season ticket holders who weren't there. Cos there were thousands of empty seats. I know easter ruined a bit, but still...

Viking after 2000:

2010: 9th
2009: 10th
2008: 6th
2007: 3rd
2006: 13th
2005: 5th
2004: 9th
2003: 5th
2002: 4th
2001: 3rd
2000: 3rd

This was the match where Viking would revenge that 0-4 in Kristiansand the week before, and send Godset - with their weak awayform - home with nill points. But instead, Fredrik Nordkvelle's shot got a deflection and teased Jarstein in the 89th minute. 0-1, and Strømsgodset flied on top of the table!

"The table shows that we are a good side. We have to carry on taking points both home and away now" said their manager Ronny Deila to VG. Substitute Fredrik Nordkvelle, who was on the field for 4 minutes before he scored said this: "We have been unlucky away from home all the time, had really bad luck. But with this win we can build confidence and hopefully win more - also other places than Marienlyst".

Åge Hareide has to be the man with the worst odds till now. The Viking manager said that it was surrealistic to see the ball go in. "Typical for a side like us".

In other news, Rosenborg won their first of the season! Thank Gooood! Finally! We played so well too! Scored after 70 seconds, when Jamtfall scored a goal where he proved skill. Kjernen were crazy from the first kick, and we sang higher than any other time! Hæstad then awarded us 2-0, when he sent a Gerrard-back pass to Prica, who scored easly. It should have been 3, 4 and even 5 too, but we were not effective enough! Prica's overhead in the post too, amazing... Our keeper Daniel Örlund got injured, though! His replacement got his debut, Erik Mellevold Bråthen. Those two kept the zero, Rosenborg's first clean sheet since February! Thanks!

"Alle som ikke hopper e Molde-svin!" (Everyone who doesn't jump are from swines from Molde!)

"Vålerenga talked in high words, but they didn't do that well, eh"
Rade Prica. The same Prica who said that he'd keep scoring against Fredrikstad a week ago...

Tromsø keeps on winning too, thanks to a clumsy own goal by Odd Grenland! 3 out of 3 for Tromsø at Alfheim - definitely a fortress. And what about Sarpsborg!? Another homewin for the new side! 3-0 v Molde, 1-0 v Sogndal and 2-0 v Start now! Impressive stuff!

Molde won their second in a row as well - their Senegalese stars were all over Brann and won 3-1 down there! Has Solskjær found they key now?

"The way we played tonight... that's the kind of football I want to see" Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
And he had all reasons to be happy with the Africans. They found each other every time and the goals - great skills!

Stabæk's Africans Ondo and Ollé Ollé ( :| ) did very well too, and scored two of the team's three goals v Fredrikstad! But no-one does better than Anthony Ujah. His goals number 6 and 7 of the season really helped Lillestrøm to trash Haugesund 5-0. Nosa added two to his goal account too. Lillestrøm have done so well!

I guess Lillestrøm will be up there as long as Ujah is there. But there are 15 games after the summer too...

Aalesund with a late, nice goal to give Sogndal a new punch in the face.

Godset on top, for the first time since June 1997. But no-one have defended their lead so far... Tromsø up next! Rosenborg climed up from the relegation zone, sending the hot potato to Stavanger and Viking. Still no wins for Sogndal!

Next round:

Molde - Rosenborg, ladies and gentlemen!... Photo: fotballmagasinet.no

Due to the first round of the cup, the next set of games are not before the second week of May.

6th of May
Fredrikstad - Lillestrøm

7th of May
Vålerenga - Brann

8th of May
Start - Aalesund
Haugesund - Stabæk
Odd Grenland - Sarpsborg
Strømsgodset - Tromsø
Molde - Rosenborg

9th of May
Sogndal - Viking

Top game in Drammen between Godset and Tromsø, rivalry in Molde, Vålerenga to play Brann and the relegation sides to meet up in Sogndal! Should be quite noisy in Fredrikstad when LSK are visitors too! Odd pressured - have to beat Sarpsborg. Start-Aalesund and Haugesund-Stabæk should be interesting...

A cool round upcoming!

Great finish by Jamtfall (and Tarik in Round 4 against RBK)! I was watching the video but I must have missed Prica's goal!? :| Weird seeing Godset in first. Valerenga are only 10th with Rosenborg 3 points behind!

Did you see the highlights of the game? You should

@Chris: What do you think if so? Rade Prica was in Sunderland too...

Some Tippeligaen exports have been good, though. John Obi Mikel, Didier Konan (who was less stable in Tippeligaen!), "Edu", Chippen Gudmundsson... Ujah can do well, but Sunderland?
