Strike hits Tippeligaen. Weekend's 9th round of the league is postponed.  Meaning I won't be going to Rosenborg-Sogndal....What the fuck are they striking for!? Ridicilous! |

Everyone's striking nowadays eh  Some good news though: Tromso's Kara Mbodj has been called up to Senegal's squad for their match against Cameroon in June

Yeah, they strike because don't have enough holidays... Come on, fucking idios, you have a full time holiday! In order to be striking, I think you should have at least 37 hours of working in the week. These people haven't... The level of the league hasn't been worse than this for ages, this is not the right time! Useless idiots! 95 Players in strike, FA got nothing to do but postponing the next round... If that round happends to be played in the summer so I miss it, I'll kill them all. "Ooh, I want to go to Lisbon and tan my boy  " NO HOLIDAYS FOR YOU, nutcases! Stay home and try to be better in football. Plenty of developing possibilities....Kara does well, ja, ligue, he deserves to be taken out

Actually, well, I see a bit why they are striking. Apparently, they are not allowed to use the shoes they want etc. If the club is sponsered by Adidas, you can't use Nike shoes. That's crap, players should play in the shoes they like best... I see that the club needs the sponser money, but it lowers the level of the league... Also, they want one common ball for the entire league, cos atm it keeps changing. Must be annoying to get used to the ball every time... What do you think? Are the players spoiled or should they strike? I say the league is a product and it needs to better so I agree, but I'm just mad because I won't be going to a match this weekend. Getting depressed when I'm looking at the table too... |

A second opportunity is wearing other soles in the shoes. If we are talking about strain(?) injuries due to wrong shoes, it is not difficult to change sole. Well. I don't know. Shoes is a part of the game.

Someone who's NOT striking is the 2.divisjon players and ELVERUM HAVE WON AGAIN! THIS IS SICK! 2-1 against Jevnaker now! 4-2-0 and top of the table! Forgot to mention our 1-1 draw in Lillehammer (been there, eh, Chris) on the 16th of May. We got a defender sent off after 3 mins (!), but yet we took the lead. Missed a penalty later too, so it was gutted to see Lillehammer score just minutes from the end.... Top of the league, though

Hopefully, all the Trondheim teams (without Byåsen) will advance! Tromsø - Bodø/Glimt should be quite cool! Can Kjelsås advance again? Rosenborg have hit many roadbombs in the later seasons, haven't been in the final since 2003. We just can't lose at Byåsen Arena... |

Only just came in - and Rosenborg ONLY just advanced too! Byåsen seemed to give us a shock and were 2-1 up till the 92nd minute. Luckely, we have Bakenga, who scored four goals in a total 6-3 win for us after extra-time! |

Drama already after three minutes, as Torgeir Dahle scored a header for the homeside, to give the homefans a good start of the derby. That was the only goal in a close first half lead by Rosenborg in the pure rain. You might think I enjoyed to be standing and see us lose and get humilated in the rain, but I didn't! I knew we'd come back, and it was only a matter of time before Bakenga, who by the way came on due to a Goa injury, scored. 54 minutes in that. However, the drama wasn't over. Alexander Nynes at Byåsen receicved a horrible pass from the Rosenborg defence, reacted quickly and sent the ball home - to give the an electric atmosphere in the homecrowd. And only a minute later - Petter Høvik got sent off for a second bookable offense. Cheap. We could clearly see the anger in his face. More bad news for the defending homeside, as they got an injury after all their subs were used. Could they hold it in? No. Only just no. 93rd minute - 5 seconds over the overtime was out, we got a last corner. Örlund got pushed up too, and the last piece of hope was there. And we did it. Bakenga again. Tallest into the box, Kjernen went wild. 2-2! The extra time was never exciting. Byåsen gave up. Bakenga scored early - hat-trick, then Skjelbred (!!!!) added a 4th just a minute later. 95th minute and 2-4! Dorsin 2-5 after 98 as well, before Bakenga took a 4th out of his goal account - easy easy. Great goal from Mush! Gotta have to be sorry for Byåsen - fought so well! The leaders of 2.divisjon hit the post before we made it 2-2, and they had great chances even with nine men in the extra time too! At least they got a goal back later: 3-6, in the final minute. Thanks for a classic night, Byåsen! You go out with pride! That's for sure! |
