I predict 1-1. It would be a shame if he gets sacked - he's a decent manager as we've seen with Stabaek. Rosenborg let go of a few players and the team need to gel back together. He needs time. Reminds me of Chelsea this season...

Good luck tomorrow

Thanks.

Odd Grenland 2-1 up at HT. Oh dear. Our midfield has an average age of 20. Svensson off after a half hour, wtf! Worked well, though, as we scored just minutes later, a goal back to 2-1.

Struggling to hold Frode Johnsen's level here, he's been good. Odd's 1-0 was pity, a cheap free-kick.

We're gonna win 3-2!

2-2!!! BAKENGAAAAA!! Chances both ways now, Johnsen hit the bar, then Örlund almost dropped the ball in another chance!

Thanks, Mush B) Can we turn this completely around, just like Stabæk did in Skien two weeks ago?

Two late late strikes, one from substitue Myklebust who scored on his first touch for Odd. Then - just a minute later, Dorsin strikes back! 3-3! FT!

Good comeback, but one point two less than both teams needed...

Will be updated when I post the summary of round 10 (round 9 was the one postponed after all).

Sigurd Rushfeldt - what a man - what a player. EXACTLY 19 years since his first strike in Tippeligaen, 29th of May 1992, he scored his 166th, 167th and 168th goal in the Norwegian Premiership. He needed one strike to come head to head with his former teammate from Rosenborg, Harald Martin Brattbakk, who retired in 2005.

What a way to get the record! Hat-trick, moving Tromsø on top! Yesterday, there was a reportage about the fair player on TV, and apparently, they didn't even have football halls etc in the small place where he come from!

168 might seem "small" for you guys, since it's a RECORD, but strikers who scores much here usually go abroad quickly so... Rushfeldt himself spent like five seasons in Austria too remember. Could have been more than 200!

Congratulations, Sigurd! Well deserved! You are now a legend!

The table:

Still a crazy table this.... Tromsø unbeaten too, impressive!

In other news, Haugesund beat Molde 5-0! What the hell! A total collapse from Molde there! Solskjær said they have no chance for the title this year... To be honest, only Tromsø looks good so far :P Not to underrate Godset or Stabæk...

Vålerenga finally win, while crisis is still on-going in Trondheim and Stavanger. Pfff....

Lillestrøm made Sarpsborg lose at home for the first time this season. Ujah keeps scoring! He'll go in the summer for sure :P

Aalesund win their 4th homegame in a row! Clearly a great side again, eh. And what about Stabæk? Turned 2-0 to 2-3 away to Odd last week - 1-0 to 1-3 v Start now. Great team spirit! Ollé Ollé is great!

Still can't believe Molde lost 5-0 to Haugesund! Sounded like a good round with many goals in Skien and in the Start game.

Getting a hat-trick to get the record sounds like the best way to get to the record! Tromso haven't lost yet either

Indeed. Favourites for the title? If we don't win, I hope Tromsø gets it to be honest. Would be cool to see a team from Northern Norway win it! Teams from there are always underdogs and they have never won a title! Tromsø in the Champions League - wack!

Imagine Tromsø in the groupstage! I'm afraid they'd had to change venue, though :( Champions League for Northern Norway! Or maybe they'll have to play at Lerkendal? CL back to Trondheim perhaps :|coffee

TIL play boring football, but I still like them. Not a bought side, always gets a lot out of the squad they have. Great! :notworthy:

IMO the only side in the top half of the table that is capable of winning it at the moment is Stabaek (besides Enga ofcourse :neuwine: ) :neutie: I don't think Tromso will hold on - they'll do a Hoffenheim and fall off afterwards.

Well, I have the same feeling as you to be honest. I think that the reason why they lead is because the others are crap. Tromsø are good, and I'm really impressed, but they are simply not the best side if everyone are at their top levels. It just seems like they have the dicipline and the right focus.

I talked to a journalist from Tromsø before Rosenborg-Lillestrøm and I said that I believed in them as a dark-horse. He said "No way, our squad is way too thin.".

Rosenborg have got a frienly against Partizan Belgrade in Serbia by the end of June by the way!

You might have mentioned it earlier in the thread but I've forgotten - where do you get the team of the round from? Do you make it up or is it from VG?

I used VG in the beginning, but sometimes I also use TV2 or even altomfotball.no. They have different teams, so I should stick to one to be honest

Player of the round is my decission.
