 Can't believe Start got relegated in the end. They seem like a decent team, but obviously not this season. Looks like Rosenborg will be absent from Europe next season :o

Forgot to comment on that Stabaek picture before but hahahaha, nice! :lol:

Badji, som i fjor var invitert til prøvespel i den franske Ligue 1-klubben Stade Rennes, kan nyttast både som offensiv og deffensiv midtbanespelar.

– Eg har sett Badji også tidlegare, men har avventa litt. No er han så heit på overgangsmarknaden at vi måtte slå til. Fleire franske klubbar var interesserte, seier Fylling.
Samd om overgang

Fylling køyrde i går fleire mil for å treffe direktøren i klubben for å bli samde om innhaldet i overgangen.

Sportssjefen i Sogndal trur Badji er godt orientert om dei klimatiske tilhøva han kjem til i Norge. Han spelar på same landslag som Tromsø-spelaren Kara.

– Det som står att er arbeidsløyve og medisinsk test, seier Fylling.

Badji comes from this season's cup champions in Senegal, Casa Sport. In his homecountry, the 21 year old is pointed out as one of the bright futures of Senegalese football.

- He is strong, he has good balance, is quick and shoots great. We have signed a three years deal, and I hope he is here in January, Fylling says to NRK.no

Stéphane Badji is captain on the Senegalese U23 national team who just participated in the African U23 championship. Fylling has seen him play in two of the games where Senegal lost 0-1 to Gabon in Thursday's semfinale.

Badji, who was invited on a trial in the French ligue 1 club Stade Rennes last year, can play both offensive and defensive midfielder.

- I have seen Badji earlier, but I have waited a bit. Now he is so hot on the transfer market that we had to sign him. Several French clubs was interessed, Fylling says.

Fylling drove several miles to see the director of the club, to sign the deal.

The head boss in Sogndal believes Badji is knows the climate challenges he gets in Norway, since he plays on the national team with Tromø's Kara.

- The only thing left is working law and the medical test, Fylling says.

Møt opp for å sjå Senegalesaren på si første trening klokka 1530.


Stephané Diarra Badji ankom endeleg bygda denne helga. I dag tidleg møtte han lagkameratane sine for første gong då han deltok på styrketrening saman med dei på Idrettssenteret.

21-åringen som også er kaptein på U23-landslaget til Senegal har fått tildelt trøye nummer 12 i Sogndal. Senegalesaren kjem til Sogndal frå klubben Casa Sports.

Klokka 1530 i ettermiddag deltek han på si første fotballøkt med dei andre sogndalspelarane. Møt gjerne opp i Sognahallen for å sjå dei afrikanske taktene.
