Warne's last match today :( What a legend he was! He was a legend for Hampshire and even though he was Australian, he was still my favourite player. He must have had an impact on me, because whenever I bowl, it's always spin! :P Got his autograph like two or three times B)

 Going to the Surrey Hampshire game on Sunday as long as the weather is decent. At Whitgift School in Croydon so its small boundaries, been a run fest against Essex in the 4 day game so hopefully a 300+ game will be on.

 100% record in CB40 so far for Surrey, similar to last year but got piped by Somerset after a NR against the Unicorns. Hopefully Jason Roy can get some runs, not sure if KP and Tremlett will be in the squad.

 Was a good game, Schofield did very well with bat and ball. Jason Roy took an amazing diving catch then dropped a sitter. Good innings for Howell. Hampshire could have got a lot closer if the middle of the innings wasn't so slow with Howell and McKenzie.

Watching at Whitgift is really good though, makes a change from the Oval.

 Think we are going to the first against Gloucstershire and the T20 at Whitgift at least.

Tbh I would take not going through in the CB40 and staying in Division 2 in the 4 day for us to get the T20 finals day, I don't even care if we lost in the semis would be a great day.

Talking of T20 we should be getting Nannes in. He had a medical last week apparently so they acted quickly after Tait pulled out. Not got the pace of Tait but is a lot more accurate and can still hit the 90's, will take less wickets than Tait would have done but he should keep a good economy and still take a good amount of wickets.

 Hampshire lost to Lancashire yesterday - such a terrible season! :|

England's summer of cricket has started though :eek: Sri Lanka are all out for 400. Decent score for them, but hopefully our batsmen can top that...

 Surrey were going to chase 395 in 54 overs. :lol: Roy hit his maiden first class hundred off like 89 balls and brought it up with a six down the ground, but after RHB fell they settled for a draw.

 England beat Sri Lanka by an innings and 14 runs in the first test in Cardiff! It was raining for most of the match but we still managed to bowl them out for 82 today :rofl: I can't believe it! It seemed like one of those matches that would go out for a draw. Perhaps it's one of the best 'worst matches' ever? :P

 Surrey made him into a top player. I've said since last season, Surrey are going to dominate the England team in a couple of years. KP, Tremlett, Dernbach, Davies, Roy and RHB will be in the frame.

Young lad Matt Dunn replaced Dernbach for the rest of the Derbyshire game and he took 2 wickets tonight from 6 overs.
