Linfield, Rangers and Chelsea are the Blue brothers. No idea how that started but thats what the big fuss is haha EDIT: Apparently its down to because all three home kits form the 3 teams are the colour blue. Edited by Cammy25, Jun 12 2011, 11:23 AM.

Yeah, our teams are quite 'friendly' with each other. I guess I went against the trend in following Celtic Chelsea's pre-season has been organised: Vitesse Arnhem Portsmouth (might go to this )Malaysia XI Thailand All-Stars Barclays Asia Trophy semi-final: Kitchee [Possible Final against Blackburn or Aston Villa] Rangers |

I think there's a little more to it than that! I never knew the actual reason, and having just researched a little bit, it doesn't seem like there's a definite answer... |

Hence the apparently I searched it on google and that was one the sites that came up and gave the reason. I reckon because they are more of a protestant team, either that or the fans just randomly get on better than other fans :|.

Well alot of the stuff which came up was about the clubs being unionist/loyalist clubs blah blah. Haha, I remember a few years ago when I came out of the Chelsea-Manchester City match at Stamford Bridge - I went into a pub and there was a Rangers-Celtic match on. Many Chelsea fans were supporting Rangers, and two of us were supporting Celtic. I believe Celtic won and we had to keep a little quiet with our celebrations because we were definitely in the minority

I think Chelsea's friendlies are too easy. They should have at least two big sides there. I suppose the blue stuff is all right, and the fact that they visit their Asian fans. But they should level up with some giants to test themself, especially with a new manager. Sunderland have decent opponents. |

You're right, we should be playing better opposition I think. It's good for our Asian fans that we're in Malaysia etc, but I think we shouldn't be travelling the world in pre-season

There's also been talk of playing Athletic Bilbao at the Stadium of Light, but i don't know where we could figure that in with the plans. Possibly the Tuesday after we get back from Germany perhaps , i'm up for a game at the S.O.L, i mean the last HOME game we had in pre-season was a 1-0 defeat to Ajax, that was when Jan Klass Huntelaar used to play for them. |
