Tragic. 15 days ago, he leaded Wales to a great 4-1 win v Norway. Presumably took his own life today. Was found this morning, just 42 years old. So unbelievable to see Shay Given cry many tears before the Swansea match. One minute silence was taken over by applause. Great inch imo. Bellamy not to play for Liverpool tonight after this. R.I.P

I heard about it at work - someone heard it on the radio and told me, but they don't like football so I knew it was something they wouldn't make up. Of course no-one would make something like that up - it would be sick - but it really was shocking. Can't believe it. Wales were on the up with him and he seemed to be doing well. Just shows that we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes with footballers and I guess people in general. Great moment by the Swansea fans to clap him. RIP.
