Best goalkeeper: Casillas. Best defender: Pique. Wasn't sure for this one but he seems to have played decently frequently. Was tempted to vote for Vidic though... Best midfielder: Xavi Best forward: Messi... Best manager: Guardiola. Champions League and La Liga titles again. Should win the Club World Cup tomorrow too (if Santos don't get in the way). Best fans: Borussia Dortmund. Can't really pick one team, but I was impressed with Dortmund's fans this season with the atmosphere they created in their title winning season - flags, singing, everything. I wish I was there during it! Obviously there are great fans in Turkey and Greece etc, but I can't name one which I've seen for myself recently. I was in Germany earlier in the year so I guess that's what has put them in my mind Best transfer of the Year: Aguero for City Club Team of the Year: Barcelona. International team of the Year: Germany. They seemed very solid in friendlies and qualifiers. Surprise team of the Year (international and club): APOEL Nicosia! Estonia too if we're naming international teams. Can't believe APOEL qualified for the knockout stages! If Estonia qualified for Euro 2012 then they would have got my overall vote! Best tournament of the Year: Got to love the Champions League! Best goal: Tempted to vote for Balotelli's shoulder goal he scored recently , but in all seriousness, Rooney's goal v City earlier in the year was the first one that came to mind and the only real one that sticks out for me! I'm sure there were many other good ones, but this one sticks out! Best match: Is it me or was there not really a standout match this year? I didn't actually see it but I'll go for this match which sounded great: Inter 2 Schalke 5! You all know the story: I heard on German radio something about 5-2 - I presumed it meant Inter won, but when I saw the papers the next day, it was Schalke! Unbelievable result for them and run in the Champions League! Best moment: United and City being knocked out of the Champions League this season! I was at a work party and people were wondering while I was smiling at my phone (checking the scores) so much Worst moment: Chelsea's season last year. Odd moment: Odd's goal from their own half in Norway! Your tip to win the UEFA Euro 2012: Germany. I thought I'd be alone in this actually, but it seems I'm not the only one! Your tip for a surprise team at the Euros: Russia. Honorary mentions to Portugal, who I think will get their act together for the main tournament (although it wouldn't really be a shock on paper since they're normally a good team), Croatia and the Ukraine.

I'm edging towards Xavi, I mean come on his won nearly everything he can in the game and can top off a great year by winning the club world cup. Best goalkeeper: Valdes, nuff said. Best defender: A few names could be thrown into this category as well, Vincent Kompany gets my vote. Best midfielder: Xavi, such a talent and Barca will surely miss him come the time of his retirement. Best forward: Mario Balotelli, I mean come on. No-one can say that this lad isn't a talent. His such a great character to the game as well, which is what I like about him. Something you don't see in many footballers these days. Best manager: Sir Alex Ferguson, managing Manchester United to their 19th League Title this year. Could a possible 20th be followed up this season? Best fans: FC Porto's Best transfer of the Year: Sergio Aguero to Manchester City, the way his quickly settled in to the style of play in the premier league is great. Good for the neutral in my eyes. Club Team of the Year: Barcelona, there is no doubt about it. International team of the Year: Has to be awarded to the Germans, obviously the team to fear in Euro 2012. Surprise team of the Year (international and club): Well, for club Swansea City. I don't think anyone gave them a chance of winning the play-offs and the way they overcame a tough Reading side in the play-off final and settled into life in the premier league, I approve. National side... well I guess Ireland, they qualified. Best tournament of the Year: Carling Cup, I mean come on..... I mean did anyone expect Birmingham to win that? Your tip to win the UEFA Euro 2012: Netherlands Your tip for a surprise team at the Euros: Ukraine, I'm predicting one of the host nations to perform.
