France/Africa Complex Pundit Posts: 14,045 Group: Members Member #5 Joined: December 28, 2005 Favourite Team Olympique Marseille	It's not just that, Amara Traore (coach) was right in saying that this is the first CAN competition for alot of the players, so it's more of a lack of experience and the expectations they couldn't cope with. We'll be more ready next time around since we can build off this current squad and the future is still bright despite this disappointment. In other news: Gabon beat Morocco IMO they can fill in for Senegal and give Ghana/Ivory Coast a run for their money - I've said it before, I'll say it again this year

Can't believe Libya beat Senegal 2-1 - what a completely terrible tournament for you guys, Alle Sudan though! They're through, despite being the second weakest team in the tournament and having not won in the tournament since 1970!

(Gyan saw his first half penalty saved, talk about another nightmare to deal with after the World Cup! AND apparently the Zambians did the haka at the final whistle?! If anyone sees a video of that, post it aye ). I had a feeling they would give them problems, Ghana haven't been at their best since the start.
