 Can't agree with you more. I didn't see a single game this year, and I used to see about half of the games before.

 It wasn't the best one indeed - especially with the likes of Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa and Egypt missing, but what can you do, they didn't qualify, shit happens. If the more renowned teams were here, it would've been more exciting ofcourse. I'm not complaining as much because I like African football, so I see things differently. The emergence of Zambia, Mali (who were always up there IMO but not at the top top) and Gabon etc makes things much more interesting. Hopefully the "old guard" make it back into next year's tournament along with these sides that way we can see more competition. BTW it's taking place in 2013 because of a switch to odd years (so instead of it being held in 2014, it'll go: 2013, 2015, etc etc - I think it had something to do with the World Cup since the competition sometimes took place in the same year).
